ALF71BE Jungle Guide R/Joined Jan 2008Sep 12, 2008 at 2:13 AM • #3No, they removed the unique attribute sof each armor type so you could play with your favorite looking one. Use Radiant insignias or Attunement runes on each armor piece to boost your energy as necessary.

So you can have + energy armour on any type of armour you want. See below for this new system that was implemented in Factions. http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Insignia
