It's that time of the month, and everyone's asking questions about the Xunlai Predictions. So let's start a thread of FAQ's and answers so maybe a mod can compile everything and make a sticky thread so everyone's questions may be answered.
I registered my account correctly at guildwars.com, and everyone else has their tournament reward points but i don't have any, why?
Two possibilities, either your predictions did not reward any reward points at all, or you don't have your account registered with Tolkano for Hero Battles. If you registered on the website but have not yet registered your account at Tolkano for Hero Battles your reward points will not come through. To do this, talk to Tolkano [Tournament] at either Great Temple of Balthazar or your guild hall, click "Register your account", Choose a character name, Accept Name, and that's it. Be sure you do this BEFORE making your predictions at guildwars.com.

if you do decide to make a faq for all the whiners... make sure your info is correct!
For one, every account which is used to make predictions get a minimum of 5 reward points, just for participating... So getting 0 reward points is not cause your predictions where wrong, it's cause something else is wrong...
Secondly, hero battles? Do you even have a clue what you are talking about? hero battles have nothing to do with your ability to use the prediction house... not on gvg, and not on 1vs1.
It is even unsure of registering your account at tolkano before the tournament makes any difference while distributing points..
the mods warned people numerous times now that when people open new XPH threads they'd recieve a temp ban, please take that into consideration next time you decide to open a new thread...

Anyway, I have to disagree with your 2 possibilities for the first problem stated. (And I could be totally wrong here), but you say it is either

Yeah, your idea is sound, but your answers are fail.
Also if you want your post "stickied" you should have more thatn one FAQ to it.
You can register with Tolkano AFTER you make you picks and AFTER the update. I did so myself when I first set up my Alt account. I went to Fau Sho (or whatever his name is) and he said he had Rewards for me but could not give them to me. So I registered and POW got them.
Not to mention the fact that there are two dozen "OMG I DIDNT GET MY REWARD POINTS AND SOMEONE ALREADY HAS A TONIC AND I WANT A TONIC CAUSE I NEED A TONIC WHERE ARE MY REWARD POINTS OMG" because no one uses the search function, so a sticky really won't help.
Plus really should mention that Regina has said to contact support if you have problems. God, I bet support hates this time of month.
Also if you want your post "stickied" you should have more thatn one FAQ to it.

I believe tegistration with Tolkano affects your acutual partcipation in the tourney not regsitration for predictions. All you need to get reward points for predictions is register in teh Xunlai House at guildwars.com and actually make the predictions and save them.
Just a note, responses like "just wait" or "dont whine": fails. they dont help the situation. In fact in this case was inaccurate. The official response was to contact support at PlayNC.

Here is one though -
If you register at guildwars.com and then change the e-mail on your guild wars account, your xunlai registration will still be listed under the old e-mail address. As far as I can tell you can not change the xunlai log-in e-mail address.

When can we start predictions for next month (in this case september)? when i log at the predictions screen bottom says: "Voting is available until August 30, 16:00 GMT for the current prediction contest." and a cancel link.

The "Voting is available until August 30..." message just hasn't been updated yet.

This is the first time i've made a prediction, and I still havn't recieved any reward points... i was already registered with tolkano if that makes any difference.. any idea why i havn't got any??

I noticed that the accounts I used for the first time (4 of them) did not recieve there rewards yet, where the accounts I used before (also 4 of them) gave rewards right after the update... might have something to do with it..

Yeah. I am registered on the site as well as with Tolkano. August was my 1st set of picks, so that might have something to do with it. I sent an inquiry to support and the advised the following:
Prizes will become available within 30 days of completing the tournament. The Xunlai Tournament Agent should have these prizes available soon. You can check www.guildwars.com for updates on this issue.

Predictions don't have anything to do with HB, but registering with your account with Tolkano is the same exact thing as registering with HB.
Nevermind, this thread won't work with all these kind of people on Guru. Was worth a shot, i'm not the person that has to deal with the influx of threads every month.
