Possible to change guild alliance from kurzick to luxon?
MercenaryKnight
Just curious, as to how changing alliances work. I am just in my own personal guild, and do kurzick hfff so it's kurzick based. But I just did my 10k luxon for befriending the luxon and would like to donate the 10k towards my luxon title.
So, what would I lose if I change my guild from kurzick to luxon? Does it cost gold or only allow so many switches before locking you to one side?
Just wondering if I could easily switch it to luxon donate to alliance and switch back to kurzick even if it means losing the faction currently donated.

You can change your guild from Kurzick to Luxon, and vise-versa. But when you do you lose all Kurzick faction and end up with 5,000 luxon faction insted. I recommend placing someone in charge of your guild WHO YOU TRUST then just leave the guild, join a luxon one, donate to it and leave. You can even ask that luxon guild to pay you for the 5k/10k faction. But anyway, hope this helps.

I don't mind since I only have like 160 kurzick faction or something. I just wanted to make sure I didn't have to like pay 5k or be unable to change it back to kurzick for a week or something.
So basically I can change it to luxon, donate the 10k faction and then change it back to kurzick as many times/ often as I want and all that'll happen is I will lose my other faction for whoever i'm changing to.

Actually you can donate to luxons anytime (e.x. in Cavalon or great temple of balthazar), even you are in kurzuck guild. In that case you just lost your current kurz factions, not guild ones. And you dont need to leave your guild

When I tried to donate faction in the alliance battle it said something about meeting with them to change guild to luxon. I know I can buy jade and stuff which would increase the title, but I want to increase the "alliance faction" since points count for double that way.

If you unclock skills it also comes double..

The only possible way to donate Luxon faction while in a Kurzick guild is you exchange that faction for Amber/Jade. It'll go towards your title but WILL NOT double since you are not donating it to an actual guild. You can also change your guild itself to Luxon by talking to the [Luxon alliegence] NPC in Cavalon and he'll request that you pay 500g. You will be able to change it back anytime you wish by going to HzH and paying 500gold again. If you switch to Luxon, your guild will lose all it's Kurzick faction and start over with 5k Luxon faction. Same thing if you switch from Luxon - Kurzick.

@Pleikki: You must first have 100K in the associated allegiance title to be able to get the skills.

@Dryndalyn - No, you can max the titles for both factions - without changing sides. It just takes longer if you're a Kurzick because you cannot get the double points bonus on the Luxon alliance.
