W/Mo Newb Just Made My Day

As we were doing a mission with a group of about 5 real players. There was a W/Mo along with us, and his actions just made my day.

So halfway along the quest somebody says " Hey guys. I need to go for like 2 minutes, wait please. " So we're waiting, it had been around 5 minutes. So I say

" Ugh, I wanted to do this fast so I could change my secondary class "

The W/Mo very quickly and eagerly responded with something like " omg, how?! " So I explain to him

" Once you finish all the desert quests and beat the boss guy, you can change it in battlegrounds and outposts. ". Now at first by desert he though I meant Ascalon. Which caused some minor confusion. Which soon was cleared. Then he told me

" Yeah, I wanna be a W/N. They rock! " So I type in something like

" Yeah defitinally better then a W/Mo. " Now this caused some conflict with him immeaditally calling me a newb, because a W/Mos were " leet ". In his words " the perfect tank ". Now I couldn't help to bite now. I responded with

" No, it's a typical newb assumption that W/Mos are perfect tanks. They think Warrior = Super Strength and Monk = Invincibility. But in reality the Mo loses it convience and power once you get a hero "

Now, he said something along the lines of " Omg, nub. You don't know what a tank is "

So I respond " A tank is someone who takes all the damage, while everyone else kills the enemies... "

From here he got really mad, and started to claim he hated heros and they sucked. But a little while later. After he had been healing us a bit. ( He had been healing me a little until our W/Mo arguement ). So we go into battle after fighting a previous one. I was out of energy and when I can't cast I die, due to my build healing as I cast. But I hadn't realized he stopped healing me, so I thought he'd have me covered. So when I died. He was said " LOL! MR BIG MOUTH JUST GOT PWNT "

I responded " I thought you'd heal me. "

Which got his response " I don't heal nubs. "

Right after he typed it he died. And one of our part members said " That's obviously why you weren't healing yourself. "

Then he resurrected me with his resurection signet. So then the W/Mo said " wtf??? rez me plz? "

Our party member responded "sorry, I don't res newbs"

The W/Mo left our group, after freaking out calling us newbs and horrible and skill lacking. This was defitinally hilarious to me, and made my day.

Everyone who doesn't know how to play becomes a w/mo thinking they'll dominate and everything. I never play w/mo other then running ppl. But that right their is how you tell between a good and a bad w.mo

Healer and a fighter, having your cake and eating it too dude.

I hope your sarcastic... once you get your heros. The healing spells are a waste of spots on your skill bar, and attribute points. Also with warriors energy management it's an horrible idea every newb thinks is excellent.

Casting heals with 2 pips is pro.

Good to know that the Runescape contingent is still well-represented in GW.

Yes, yes we all know about "the wamo".

I garner insults when I run around with w/mo showing. I don't have any secondary skills on my bar, just my axe skills and maybe a PvE one, but everyone assumes I'm a newb wammo.

I enjoy letting them explain why I shouldn't be using monk skills. It's useless arguing that I'm not, that I was doing a CoF run or skill capping. Guess I should make sure my basic template gives me w/r again.

Although players have told me that's a bad combo.

Sorry to hear about your crappy PUG experience, but what really interests me is how a clueless little newb can get to you so bad to come on here and dedicate a thread to it with your rantings. I mean, who hasn't heart the "w/mo echo mending healsig story" nonsensical stuff before? You can either just use heroes, or create your own party like i do.

Lead a party, have every single person ping their bar, and if it's clear that they're clueless simply kick them and go on DnD before they have a chance to spam you with 'o ya i hav se x w ur mom NOOOOB'. It can be a frustrating pain but at least you don't have to deal with *as much* incompetence.

However, we all know real godmode is w/mo/me with echo mend and....and....well, it doesnt really matter just so long as you have echo mend, cause it makes you win

LOL happened to me as well. I occasionally run around W/Mo with a pure primary build, just to bring Resurrection Chant or Rebirth.

Right now, hes probably out there somewhere casting mending on himself and getting ready to go into battle.
