Would this work on mallyx?

Would using two Echo Blackout mesmers taking turns shutting down mallyx combined with a bip to restore their energy and an SV/Empathy hexer work?
It seems like it would, since he will be shut down of any skills and kill himself from spamming normal attacks.
Of course, this would need to be VERY organized.

Honestly, it worked pretty well with just the one, like I was saying (partially rudely) in the other thread. Obviously if you can get past the 17 or whatever groups beforehand with two mesmers, you should theoretically be great - just make sure he can't attack Echo before you use Blackout. I also was Me/Rt with [[Gaze of Fury] to take out his spirit buddies.

Like you said, this would need to be ridiculously organized, probably calling the Blackouts on Vent, Teamspeak, whatever.

Hopefully this way you can get it done

Edit: [[Diversion] is useful too for when you mess up your Blackouts - at least it seemed that way.

Maybe it didn't work at all and I was just a wasted slot, but I do know that he didn't seem to do crap for at least 3 seconds after I blacked him out. Maybe it was just dumb luck then.

All I know is that I've got a statue in my HoM and that's how I got it. If I was worthless, than that just goes to prove how retarded easy Mallyx can be

It doesn't say in the description, but his "Shadow Smash" skill is always active. Every hit he lands will always do 150+ and make you Shadowstep so you'd still have to make sure you don't get hit.
