i think everyone else got over it, and beat the game. and then got the other games. and beat those. and then , traded in the major trading ports in those other games.

This is what I don't get though, why Kamadan?

I think Lion's Arch looks much nicer with the castle background and scenic lighthouse and sea port.

because kamadan is the major city in the newest campaign.
also, because not every person who plays guild wars shares your opinion about the towns' sceneries.

kamadan is irretating, everyone stands beside the chest in D1. Can never find the person you are looking for, it's so crowded in taht little corner. I also prefer LA.
