i know i do. ive been gone for about 4 months, and i want to come back doing somehting that'll feel epic.

more than getting a title

more than completeing an elite mission

more than killing the charr at the northern wall, as i let a beginner run to saftey.

any ideas? and who wants to join me in the journey for epicness?

FoW, UW, DoA, High-End/Elite PvE??? It's what I do, and it holds me till GW2...though I'm within the GoE alliance so...pretty 3pic.

i like the feeling when i beat urgoz, but ive never tried the deep.
all the rest of that stuff ive done to such an extent it feels like a chore to do.

well, i did with my own personnal build. and with legendary guardian already, redoing missions is somewhat bland, no matter how you do them.

i have created a new HA build on my own, and it "should" work nicely, but i can never get people to test them. same goes for PvE builds.

In Guild Wars, what can be more epic than saving the world? You have your choice of the Lich, Shiro, Abbadon, or the Destroyers...

And if that's not what you mean, then perhaps "epic" is not the right word. I quote Inigo Montoya:

second: The feeling of killing a god, or supernatural being for the first time is awsome. but when youve done it many times, the feeling disapates.

I wish they had somethign along the lines of battle of turai procession, or dzagonur bastion, except on a large scale. a much larger scale. kinda like an elite mission, where you would defened a castle (your guild hall?) against thousands of monsters. 12-26 players or so, and just fight them off. LotR style maybe or something. that would be awsome.

just fighting an army of guys with lots of friends on your side is pretty much what im looking for. but there is nothing close to the scale im looking for here ;(

unless someone knows of an awsome place or wants to set something up like this?

If anet introduced a super elite 25 man raid to ppl who have completed every elite dunegon in GW (UW, FOW, SF, SE, etc). NOW THAT WOULD BE EPIC.

there should really be like a 20 vs 20 war or something of that sort. i mean whats the point of calling it guild wars if there are no actual wars going on. thats what i like about what ive hear about gw2 that they will have super huge battles.. hopefully ^^

Have you been playing with me recently?

Start a character in prophecies, a wammo of course, and then solo your way to kryta, without getting max armour, weapons, or elite skills. Only what you pick up/craft from traders. One of my fondest memories of GW ever.

Maybe if we all keep throwing the word epic around, it will lose most of its meaning, and all achievements will be "epic". It's been mercilessly used as a meme for a while now. Soon, very soon.
