. They are pvp by the definition of pvp whether people think that way or not (and I dont think of them that way for the record).

GvG is meh for me being in a small guild.. maybe I'll just take my alts in with heros and give away some balt this weekend while watching the football on Sunday...

I haven't GvGed in awhile. In fact in my last guild, our guild-leader wouldn't even GvG with us and played with another guild instead.

Personally I don't consider anything outside Battle Isle PvP. If it's on Battle Isle, then it's PvP. If it's not, then it's competitive PvE.

AB is different, as it is entirely Kurz/Lux. JQ and FA though, I never considered to be real PvP as there is such a large focus on killing NPCs...

When they do PvP weekends they should just make some little PvE thing, like 2x SOMETHING, just so that there are less angry PvErs who will now go and do X or Y, acting as though they wouldnt have done them on any other weekend.

yep wont be worrying about missing anything this weekend seeing as my guild is 3 people, one of whom hasnt been logged on in over a month...

would like another double faction (norn, asuran, ebon, dwarven) weekend since grinding to level 5 is getting old---have a few more characters that want eye armor, 2 of whom have just made it to the eye of the north---a long way to go!

gamer weekend would be cool seeing as I was just getting into the beetle things when the last one ended....

dont need double or triple dye weekend (I get AT LEAST one dye EVERYDAY..no need for more...maybe just let other people get mine for a few days)...

double lockpick drops or gold drops or triple tome drops or party item drops would be nice since its been a while since the last 'holiday'....

if so many of you die hard pve'ers are so bored with pve that you have to cry a river every pvp weekend, hay...maybe you should try it. there's a ton of pve guilds that play gvg on double weekends, so competition won't be too tough at the bottom of the ladder. it is much more fun that grinding title points, that's for sure. earn some zkeys and get rich over the weekend...or god forbid, learn something.

I love how when last week i brought up anet is considering JQ/FA as pve content is not fair, all the damn pvp fanbois show up claiming there was no orders to the weekend, that they were actually pve content, that only high end pvp counts as pvp. Then the thread was lock because it wasn't a "real" complaint. Now when triple pvp weekend show up, exactly how I predicted, complains are comign again.

Anet is flagshipping PvE'er with double FA/JQ weekend. It not a real pve weekend, its a crappier AB weekend that you don't even double the balth faction.

This Double GvG event is one of the BEST ones ever, far better than most of completely useless others.
It's great not only for the 1200+ guilds but also for all <1000 casual guilds who can get A TON of faction from just playing GvG's. Try it. Everyone. GvG is a fantastic game mode, even after this new terrible VoD change. And during this weekend there will be so many guilds playing there will be close to no waiting times. And more easy wins than ever.

To be honest, it's only PvP if it offers a hostile interaction with at least one other player.

I can really care less about the weekend events these days though. All they do is minimize the need for X title.
