guild leader gets banned and guild is dead in a second

i got banned and an officer decided to go psycho and kick my whole guild during my absence. anything that can be done?

Yeah nothing you can do except invite everyone back and kick the officer.

if it's permanent, no.

if it's a 3 day or something, then you can look at the guild status and re-invite everyone who was kicked, and choose your officers more wisely from now on. not too many possibilities here, so that just about sums it up.

nope nothing besides reforming, the good thing is their IGN will be in the status part of the guild window or in your forum if you have one, the bad thing is it doesnt show everyone who got kicked just the most recent event.

Theirs nothing you could do about it.

Just wait for your ban to end, and just invite all the people back.

And before you promote officers...kinda think about what just happened..so you don't get poo on your face again?

Just PM yours guildies when your "ban" is over.

Yeah, thats a crappy situation. Don't kick yourself too hard though. Even if you weren't banned, he could have just done it when you weren't online to see.
Yeah, always be sure you're not just making anybody an officer. Get to know them reaaaaalllly well first.

maybe if you didn't cuss out a 12 year old, or call someone a nazi, or buy $100 worth of gold, then you wouldn't have gotten banned.

actually i didnt promote the guy who went psycho. anet has a flawed design on promoting people.

You were banned for 2 months? Because that's how long it takes to change leader...

wow. i'm pretty sure out of the thousands of guilds in GW, there hasn't been a guild that has had an officer accidently be promoted because the system had a hiccup.

No sympathy from me. You got banned for something that was against the rules.

Make everyone an officer then, and no one can be kicked except by the leader and everyone can invite, unless its like a PVP guild then just make everyone members and 1 leader and no officers.

Screenshot or it did not happen. I have never seen anything close to this happening in my guild or even heard of it happening in any other guilds. I have to call bullsh#t.

Anyways... care to explain how he got promoted then? Either you did it and it's your fault. OR, you've been banned for 2 months now (permaban), and it's not like you have a say in the matter anymore anyways.

EDIT: I doubt this thread will survive the next 20 posts before a mod slaps a padlock on it. If it does, I'd be surprised.
