ok i have tried this about 100 times many many ways but always lose on the soloms why i have no idea i read wiki they are really sensitive but i believe they are to sensitive making this quest unplayable. it is driving me crazy can some one help me tell me what to do thanks.

Don't take the quest, run up walk behind some piggies until they sat inside the "pen" (takes about 4-5 mins) then go and take the quest and accept the reward having to do nothing else

i feel your pain. i was going insane! before each round i would push them closer to the pen but as it started i was always 1 away. just keep trying.

This no longer works. It was patched back in October, I believe.

I would regularly try to get through this quest on my main character, and fall at the last hurdle of trying to get the pigs in the pen. Then a couple of weeks ago I started the quest but had to go afk for 10 mins, and when I got back the quest was completed and the pigs were in the pen. No drunken running had been attempted.
I now afk this quest for each character.

This still works it's just that the pigs won't run but you can stand in front/back of them so they change direction. Then "guide" them into the pen.

I went back to do this, and the quest glitched:
After I'd herded/body-blocked about 8-10 pigs into the pen, I suddenly got the message that I'd completed the quest, and got the quest reward. I hadn't done any of the other parts of the quest, or even talked to any of the npc's.
