Seems like I can't load any of my characters into the game now...
I played without any problems during the morning, then when I came from school I saw that something is wrong.
It simply goes to 100%, all files downloaded, I can see the image of the zone (aka loading screen) and then it just sits there without loading my toon... for hours.
I haven't changed anything since the morning, so i'm very surprised it's happening all of a sudden.
Anyone having the same problem?
*Pretty sure it's not some hardware/software problem, maybe something with recent updates?*
Can't load any character

Elder III
No problems here - Run a virus scan using whatever program you have that you normally use, better yet download CCCleaner and run that too.
If the problem persists it could be a corrupted gw.dat file, which would need to be replaced.

Possible problems:
A) Your "normal" connection to your "default" server may be glitchy even though you normally play on x server. I wouldn't say this is a COMMON problem for me, but it does happen. Try dumping your DNS if this doesn't work see point C.
B) AV/FW issues. Sometimes updates to AV/FW subscriptions can screw with your ability to connect to certain sites. If you are feeling game, switch them off and see what happens.
C) A critical route or hub is glitchy. This means no mather how much you try you probably won't be able to get on till the tech people over wherever the problem is fixes it.
