Hiya Everyone Who Is Reading this!

I am a experinced guild wars player who is looking into buying Eye of The North. I already have the campagin Prophecy (proh) But I have some questions before I am going to buy it. My questions are:

* I have heard that players need to get r5 in asuran, norn, ect in order to buy most items from EOTN. Examples* Slim Spectacles

* I have also heard that a lot of titles are in Eye of the North is this true?

* I have also heard that it is really easy to level in Eye of The North and you can get new pets in Eye of The North Is This Also True?

* Is It hard to beat Eye of the North and to get r5 in every single rank? And, How do you get r5 in every single rank

- Please try to be specific as much as you can and obey all the guru rules Thanks

You only need r5 for Armor, also these titles are only character based. If you want to buy consumable you need r3. There are 5 titles, 4 reputation titles and then Legendary Master of the North. Leg Master is achieved by doing Dungeons, Quests, Vanquishing, and Cartographer. There are new pets, theres a polar bear outside the first town and also Eagles around there. You can level very fast by doing the Punchout Quest, its also used for Legendary Survivor title. You can get r5 by simply beating the game, but if you want atleast r5 in other reputations you can do Heros Handbooks or Dungeon Guides.

Read wiki for more information.

Yes, each faction has their own unique armour you can get once you reach r5 - you can reach r5 quite easily by doing quests and missions - in fact you will get a hero's logbook of sorts which you can hand in to your favourite faction which will put you to approximately lvl 5 once you have finished the game once.

one for each faction, one for combination dungeon / mapping and vanquish completion.

There are a variety of ways to fast level in eotn - the most popular one is to use the dwarven boxing quest available in Gunnnar's Hold to fast track a lvl 10 (you must be minimum lvl 10 to travel to eotn) to get to lvl 20. There are several new pets available, a polar bear, eagle, white moa for example and once you reach a certain rank something special appears in your Hall of Monuments.

No quite easy - you can get points in them by adventuring and picking up hunts, completing quests and filling out your hero's handbook.

Hero Handbooks and Dungeon Guides are given out by the reputation representiative in the major outposts - Eye of the North (Gedrel, Vanguard rank), Gunnars Hold (Tyr, Norn rank, Kodan, Deldrimor rank), and Rata Sum (Lexx, Asura rank). These are also the NPCs you need to return the books back to once completed to get your reputation, experience and gold.

For titles there are 5 available, 1 general title with 6 levels to it and 4 reputation based titles with 10 levels to them.
Master of the North - 'Adventurer of the North' at lvl1 to 'Ledgendary Master of the North' at max lvl 6.
Asura - 'Not too Smelly' at lvl 1 to 'Not too Shabby' at max lvl 10.
Ebon Vanguard - 'Agent' at lvl 1 to 'Secret Agent' at max lvl 10.
Deldrimor - 'Delver' at lvl 1 to 'Legendary Delver' at max lvl 10.
Norn - 'Slayer of Imps' at lvl 1 to 'Slayer of All' at max lvl 10.

As for tips I can offer a couple:
*Doing the Dungeon offered by Kilroy Stonekin in Gunnars Hold is a popular way to level up quickly and also to achieve Legendary Survivor. Its a solo dungeon and offers a good range of drops and great XP.
*When you get to Rata Sum keep an eye out for any Raptor Farmers who are offering leeching. Basically this means they will allow you to take the bounty and stand back while they kill a largish group of raptors netting you a nice chunk of free Asuran points towards your title.
*As Pain Inverter (Asuran skill), You move like a Dwarf! (Norn skill) and Finish Him! (Norn skill) as very handy and popular PvE skills its always worth picking them up quickly and maxing out those ranks.

When you are tired of doing the handbooks, you can farm the asuran's rep points easily, by doing raptor farms, the other 2 however, if I remember correctly you need to do normal quests and there's only limited "cheat" (like boss run in Norn's), but no farm or same kind as the asuran.

Not only the new title and but if you like a cool weapons and (some) cool armors, eotn is the way to go. Dungeon also add a new fresh feature if you are from proph.

My suggestion however(if you haven't purchase it), is to get GW: Nightfall as well. For the heroes. It will make your life easier. But if you hate NPC's and Henchmans and like to go on with real player people, then my latest point might not be important.

cheers

Eye of the North is the second town you go to. So pick up a Hero's Handbook and Master Dungeon Guide from Gedrel when you get there. You only get credit towards the handbok if it is in your inventory. So ALWAYS keep the Handbook and Dungeon Guide in you inventory at all times. Also if you have multiple books in your inventory you only get credit towards the first book.
