Petition Forum?

Okay, since I can't seem to find it anywhere, where is the so-called "Petition Forum"?

I read a thread earlier that I think would merit further discussion, but it was closed by a mod because If some one could point me in the direction of this I would be greatly appreciative.

Nope, no petition forum. That thread probably wasn't in Sardelac, or was on a topic that gets talked about all the time, so that's why it was closed.

I know the thread you speak of, and it really doesn't merit further discussion (at least IMO). All it will become is a giant thread of QQ and complaints - which isn't really discussion.

For the record, I agree with the premise of the thread, but not the approach. Katsumi's also right - a topic that gets talked about all the time.

Just for clarity's sake, the thread WAS in Sardelac and I had suspected a small amount of sarcasm involved in the mod's comment.

Here's the thread, am I being dumb? or is this a viable discussion?

EDIT: those last questions are rhetorical. Obviously, I think the matter is worth continuing. As seen in the recent past, ANet does browse this and other forums, and if something is being discussed with enough intelligence and passion, they usually address it.

Well, I can see why he closed it. Any thread with the title "A petition to ANet" or "An Open Letter to ANet," heads south pretty fast.

And it was GW2, so that makes it worse. We aren't getting anymore news until ANet is good and ready to give us some. So there's no need to ask for more, let people flame, and get +1's for a stupid thread. It's one of those things that gets talked about all the time.

Not about GW2 info unfortunately. There's a thread in Riverside about GW2 news in 2009 as well.

Think of GW as being like "Pimp my Ride". What you are asking for is day to day news about what color they think they might paint it today, or what brand f shocks they are thinking of.
It would be pointless at this time for ANet to give out news about a product/feature that may change tomorrow or just never show up.

There is no petitions forum on here, just like there isn't a rants forum, a hacks forum, or a porn forum.
