just came back to GW after tabbing out to goto firefox, and i get greeted by this (the pic). personally im unsure on wether or not this is a dodgy gw.dat or my video card dying. Would care for some help Also, after minimizing gw 3 more times it fixed itself, but still.

Specs;

XP sp3
amd athlon 64, 2.16 ghz (dual core)
2 gig ram
NVIDIA GeForce 8600

if im missing something lemme know . Cheers for any help.

Since you minimized some more and it fixed, I'm leaning towards a gfx issue, rather than a .dat issue. It's wierd either way.

Is the problem recreateable?

Drivers. I blame them.
Reinstall your graphics drivers and maybe take a look at your BIO's version.

Well, if it happens fairly irregularly, I don't think I would worry about it too much.

Quickest way to see if it's the .dat file, is to delete it and redownload. But that is kind of a hassle, especially on a slower connection.
