unless they will call it a bug that the kegguy follows u through portal, they won't nerf this yet. if they consider this to be a bug then good bye kegs. if it isn't considered aa bug it will be nerfed in 2 weeks i geues. when they add the tonic and stuff

the raptors are to hard to nerf to many different builds to kill them with, u can stop a few but not all. and keep the area possible for vanquishing It's not a bug, he is meant to follow you through portals. Since he is used to farm by killing anything in it's path, while using a perma sin, it will be considered an exploit.

When EotN was first released, someone showed me how to solo run HoS using Blackpowder... He was using derv, but then I came up with an Sin build to do that same thing. I was able to run the whole HoS dungeon in 6 minutes at best. I used to charge people 1k ea to run it for them... Once people started catching on about it, it was nerfed about a week after, then it was still possible to spam kegs, then they nerfed it a 2nd time which made it so you can spam any kegs at all. You are no only able to spam a keg every 10-15 seconds, which makes it useless to kill anything.

So something exactly like this has been nerfed before big time, and I have no doubt in my mind they will nerf this keg guy too. And the fact that this also uses the popular permasin, which is a very touchy subject in the game... will only greater the chance of a nerf. When all the complainers get ahold of this, they will be outraged, and cry nerf. But then again, GW did lose over half of its players in the past acouple months... either way, when Anet catches wind of it, they won't hesitate to take it away like they did with the HoS Keg guy. One little simple update to make Blackpowder only produce kegs every 10-15 seconds will kill the whole farm. Kinda sucks to tell you the truth, I've done this farm so many times the past year during festivals, and it was by far the best farm ever in my opinion, and I've done alooooot of farming the past few years... it will be really sad to see it go.

Sigh I can totally understand where Rezzdogg is coming from. I too am really really growing tired of all these nerfs over the years. If it ain't Anet nerfing something, it's the community crying for a nerf. This game is getting worse by the minute. truethat,as ive stated in other thread for me farming is quite dead it died somewhere right after the adition of loot scale,i wasnt bothered so much by previous farming nerfs just iritated,but loot scale made the final blow,i mean its no frikin fun to kill 30+mobs and get 2 drops which often are beyond crap.

Used Glyph of Swiftness + Deadly Paradox + Shadow Form... But I can't cycle SF! I'm not covered for 1 sec so they farm me... How can i solve?
Switch to Sin primary, use Spyda's suggestion or use a consumable that will boost your attributes or reduce recharge time.

i think there's something to non-max health = more drops, done 20 runs or so, and i'm noticing higehr averages when i let SF run out once then keep it maintained at about 50% health. 20 runs is nothing. do about 1000 and record all of your drops and you might be able to talk with some knowledge about the effects of percent total health on drop rates.

even if they nerf the keg farm... you can still use a/me and do pretty much the same... its just not mindless... close... but not quite as much Not really. A/Me is pretty limited to the enemies that it can kill. Best thing bout kegs, is you can spam as fast as you want to put some some major damage, not to mention it knocks enemies down, which is great for those enemies that deal AoE damage, use Signets, or enemies that heal. You can literally Solo Vanquish all of Northern Shiverpeaks, and one Asuran area... You can also boss farm with it...

It is a pretty crazy way to farm, and nothing like it, so it will be sad to see it go if it does. Knowing Anet, they probably already got it planned in next update if they caught wind about it.

even if they nerf the keg farm... you can still use a/me and do pretty much the same... its just not mindless... close... but not quite as much They can always replace some vaettirs with IW ones to nerf the area for permas altogether.

In case the nerf bat will hit this next friday, could someone post the next fastest way to farm these Vaettirs? I've seen a mention of some A/Me build?
Shame I can't do this all day :P would certainly help getting my titles. A/E does this by using choke points with the UW Frigid Armor/Burning Speed build.

A/Me is just Arcane Echo perma with degen through Radiation Field/Ether Nightmare and CoP with Channeling for e-management.

There are burnt down/ruined buildings on each side so just pull them up against the side of those with their left side against the wall to choke. You'll figure it out after a run or two.

Already got 12 stacks of ToT-bags doing this, and 550 extra ID's in my wisdom title :P.

BUT...Some friend of mine says he can do runs in 1 min 10 secs (I do it in 2 min 30 secs) because he can aggro both groups at 1 time, but he doesn't want to tell me how. I tried a zillion things (Recall, Shadow Walk,...), but nothing works, does anyone maybe know? Possibly from using the choke point on the left side once you zone into Jaga, and then going and aggroing the right side and reaggroing the left side from the choke point.

Highly doubt he can hit both groups at once, though. I've tried every choke point manip you can think of with every build, E/Me, E/A, A/Me, A/E you can think of and it just doesn't work. AFAIK it takes longer to aggro everything than a minute ten anyway.

Honestly though it doesn't matter, everything dies after a couple minutes pew pew pew and the profit from even a slow run is greater than most other farms out there.
