Zaishen Elite Oddity

Experienced an oddity trapping Zaishen Elite yesterday. I started the session with 2000 Balty faction and expected to farm the standard 6000 faction to get a Zaishen Key. The odd thing was that instead of stopping at 8K when my 6K quota was fulfilled I ended up stopping at 10K which is the max that I can hold Balthazar faction on my account.

When the counter clicked over in the final round getting to 8000 I knew that it was going to be touch and go whether another set of traps was going to be needed. It happened that the final 50points awarded for flawless took the total beyond the 8K limit and I was surprised to see the total at 8010. I convinced my mate to stay on for another round and most pleased to see that I kept on getting faction. As it was, we stayed on until I got to the 10K limit and then it stopped. My mate who lives half a day out of phase was not getting any faction at all for the entire run (he had been through about 12 hours earlier so he did not have the same experience other than to wonder why we were still there up till round 20 with flawless victories and me still earning faction).

I tried again today, but it was back to the standard 6K. I checked about a little but I have not seen it mentioned at all - is this something that happens from time to time, or is it completely out of the blue?

I appreciate I have no screenshots to satisfy the skeptics among us. I would have been skeptical myself - but I was there and I know it happened .

There's a thread in Game Bugs about this. I'm inclined to think this is a timer related issue. Don't know if it got changed in an update or not.

Thanks for the info - just had a look at that thread. I see they talk of quick re-setting of the 6K limit. None of those guys had their limit resetting happen during the same run. If it turns out that is what it was then that is pretty amazing timing .

Have also had the opposite happen where I stopped getting faction before hitting the 6k mark. (and no I hadn't trapped there within the past 24hrs).

already a thread in the bug section, i think the timer is bugged for some reason.

Happened to me too, but I only gor +520 or so more faction over the 6k limit. Never happened again afterwards.
