This is where mesmer/interupt hereos/henchmen shine.
Damage is not always enough by itself. You need shutdown.

Engage
Slam the monk with Diversion, most people take a BHA but I find a mesmer far more versatile these days especially after the buffed Visions of Regret for HM.

its not impossible, you just need a better build or team. try the triple necro hero team build found on pvxwiki, if you dont have heroes then id suggest taking your time, dont over aggro and pull groups. also hit the monks first if that doesnt work then try what i do
kill monks>melees>eles> rest
kill monks>melees>eles> rest
Nanood
More details.. Which area? Which Boss. Knowledge is POWER!

You don't need to visit the wiki to get the 3-necro HM team build, guru has very nicely stickied Sab's thread here http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10292641 in the Campfire section Heros subforum.
Sab also goes into variations of the build for other areas and larger parties.

Broadhead Arrow works very well. As far as pulling, you should wait til the groups separate a bit. Often times it's a patrol and all you have to do is to wait til they go past.

diversion is good yeah but tbh ,daze+minion army>all imo,if i take mesmer its either migraine+frustration or better yet powerblock ,nice to disabe a foe´s bar

In Tyria, skills that actually steal or disable skills (i.e. Power Block, Diversion, or even Smooth Criminal) really shine. Most monsters in Tyria have very small skill bars, so disabling one or more of these skills can more or less shut a baddy down completely. For example, I used Smooth Criminal to disable Willa The Unpleasant's Aura of Faith, after which the Mursaat fell extremely quickly.
