Are there more than the typical moving your leg and back back and shooting? Does it change depending on the type of bow a ranger uses?
I'm asking because my friend's faction female ranger shoot like a REAL archer (standing straight). D:
Ranger's Shooting Animation?

I haven't noticed any of the rangers look like a "real" archer would (at least one that is trying to shoot competitive scores or on the upper end of accuracy). Though GW does better than most games, they at least get the motion of their upper body mostly correct on their loose. If the female ranger would only hold the bow mostly (or even better all the way) verticle instead of horizontal then I would be happy.
As to your question, I just checked on my ranger and there was no difference between her recurve and longbow. I thought that there was some difference between bows and there still may be - those were the only two types she had to choose from.

Oh! I found out why. :P She used Called Shot. That makes her stand up straight...
And thanks for the tip on the Paragon's animation. Is there nay way the Paragon could make use of the bow so I could see the animation all the time? ![]() |
It's not the best build in the world, but it's not broken in any way.
