sup, dont post here much.. infact ive JUST come back to gw.. anyway.

my problem is i need to farm the mesmer construct for his mesmer staff (rolling a new mesmer) but i cant seem to get to him without a full set of henchies, and then i kill him BUT because of the huge amounts on henchies it's not viable to do it this way.. minus my heroes ofc, what i was wondering was if anyone could think of any way for me to get to him and kill him on a w/mo or a w/me..

any ideas?

That might be REALLY hard to get to w/o a full set.

Although it is possible to get a Mesmer staff (Illusion) off of this guide.
I haven't tested it yet, but I believe it is possible to kill them with a w/mo, might want to bring defy pain and Tank

[Skip Stormray and head straight to mesmer boss

You might be able to get to the Mesmer construct with 7 henhcies but that is your best bet.

as i said, i can get to him easy with henchies, but the lowered drop rate makes it not a viable option.. doesn't it?

A tactic you might want to try is to kill all the badies up to and around him but before you kill him, flag your hench outside of compass range. You might have a better chance at getting the green then.

btw zodiac a mesmer staff doesnt drop there unless you were talking about siskas staff?; and the staff can ONLY be that one

If youre only in it for the staff, i would suggest that you just farmed some other place, and then bought the staff over guru.

Are you guys talking about Siska Scalewind, the Naga boss outside Cavalon, or about the Mesmers Construct in Sunjiang District?
Both drop staffs...

EDIT: and the Kaolin Domination Staff is considerably more sexy than Siska's Staff...
