Hey guys!

I was wondering what the most comfortable headphones are atm, i dont want one with a mic as i have a seperate mic already and find them to be better than ones on headsets.

I tend to wear them for long periods of times (i.e watching films, playing gw etc) and i hate it when they hurt my ears after a while, money isn't a problem for me, but i do find value for money to be what is most important when making a purchase.

Thanks in advance.

Just because a headset has a mic, doesn't mean you have to use it.

But, anyway, there is no answer to your question - one mans comfort is another mans torment. And you didn't narrow the field down any either - do you want earbuds, behind the ear headphones, over the head headphones, headphones that fully cover the ears, etc.?

At the moment I'm using a lighweight Altec-Lansing headset which is comfortable and has good dynamic range and clarity as headphones, plus it has a mic (which you don't have to use. )

Sennheiser headphones are very good headphones and also very comfortable. Do a google search and you'll find out more.

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD600's, and they are just incredible. Extremely comfortable, no fatigue even after hours of use, and the sound quality will blow you away. I got em for a steal, though. You certainly don't want to pay MSRP for those.

Hi - I narrowed it down to 3 headsets:
  1. E.D.G.E. Acoustics GX400 Enhanced Definition Gaming Earphones - Ruby
  2. Sennheiser HD600 Over-Ear Open Dynamic Hi-Fi Professional Stereo Headphones (Black) by Sennheiser
  3. Sennheiser PC166 Over The Head Headset with Noise Cancelling Mic and In-line Volume Control

I canceled the Razer order because it has been discontined. So I am still looking.

If I get better at PVP I might just have to take a second look at the Gx400 or the Sennheiser HD600.

I use Bose OE Triports, easily the most comforable headset I've ever worn, with the built in noise reduction and stereo sound, it puts you in the game. Plus with the plug convertion kit, you can listen to your stereo, mp3 player, portable dvd, etc... all in comfort.

QFT those comfy headphones rock. They can also be folded to store easily so it doesn't hang around your neck collecting sweat. Try one of these out at a Target, Best Buy or whatever.
