Whats a good second class for a Ritualist.

Whats a secondary profession I could handle easily?

You could check the Ritualist forum, you know. There's a sticky that covers all these things.
Common one is Ranger, either for a Splinter Weapon+Barrage build, or for Serpent's Quickness for a spirit heavy build.
Edit: this was first not in the rit forum as for my first comment. For further clarification, Rt/R, Rt/N, Rt/Me, Rt/A are the main ones I see.

1. No double posting - edit your post instead.
2. Link to Glossary on the wiki http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Category:Glossary which contains explanations of game "lingo" such as build.
3. Link to the forum abbreviations in use (currently being updated) so you can decipher most of the posts (although not all). http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10314661
That is actually stickied at the top of the Q&A forum.

sorry about that.
Ah thank you. Guess I didnt look hard enough.
EDIT: Do I have to pick a secondary? Cant I just be 100% Ritualist?
Also isn't the ranger the class where you control animals and such?
Oh I don't know what to do....

you have to pick a secondary, but you can go all rit skills. Yes ranger lets you have pets. Doesn't matter what your secondary is as you can switch it as much as you like later in the game.

if you want to have a healer rit, go mesmer voor expel hexes
Ritualists have pretty strong heals, but they don't have hex removal

1. You cannot advance past basic training without choosing a secondary profession. But make sure you do all the profession quests as those skills will be available to you later in the game.
2. You don't have to use any skills for or place any attribute points into your secondary.
3. The beginner guide stickied at the top of this Ritualist subforum has a basic build that will last you through to the mainland where you can purchase other skills if wanted.

Some of it depends on what you want to do with your ritualist. For example, if you want to be a healer mostly, then go /mo or /me for hex removal.

RT can be the hardest to chose a secondary,
but I advise against an Ele, necro and Assa in the beginning.

id probaly go /n for [barbs] and [mark of pain] and skills like that. but your gonna end up wanting to change it all the time. i use every single secondary, because i change my build so much. rit can go with any primary, theres a good build to go with any secondary.
