True, there are those that wear them for comfort, but most know that even the comfort is clouded with the 'sex appeal'. Try taking a short skirt like the characters in GW wear to a catholic school and convince the nun's to wear them as it would be more comfortable in the hot weather.
Part of my point was that 'today's society' is a meaningless phrase, one without context. Whose society, exactly? There are lots of societies, and they all have different perspectives on dress. My exhortation was to get the knee-jerk 'omg what a slut' people to re-examine an idea probably imposed on them by their society, rather than an independent idea with actual merit. Or dertemine whether it was just wishful thinking shrouded in moral outrage. ((As a secondary idea, we might ask whether part of that reaction is based on her long blonde hair and vacant face - and whether the 'omg what a slut' reaction would have been the same had she looked, for example, Egyptian, Chinese, or Brazilian, in the same outfit. I suspect not. Similarly, if I walked into Riyadh right now with a sweatshirt and jeans as I'm wearing, covered but for my wrists, hair, and face, the men there would similarly assume I'm a slut. Culture and context are everything.))

I didn't forget that people wear clothes based in part on how they look in them, though - that would be covered by the 'couture' and 'culture' line. Your nun example perfectly illustrates how people allow aspects of their culture dictate what they wear, and create incorrect assumptions in them about what others wear, and why.

Face is meh, but that armor is NICE. I think it's a mesmer for sure...doesn't remotely resemble anything else to me.

That pic is actually what I first thought when I saw the long hair in the OP. (it seems to reach down to the butt). I think the pic in the OP was the in-game version of that picture.

Also, iirc, that pic was a concept for Cynn.

I remember quite a few threads asking the same question. There was a whole list of screenshots of items and stuff that weren't in-game.

I did some digging and found these 2:

I'd say it was ranger, as there is a fur outline on her right shoulder. Rangers are normally the ones who wear the skins and hides of animals.

Fixed it for you.

Anyways, it's definably a cast (that is not a Necromancer) due to the stance. It can't be a necromancer because the hands are not curled to look like claws (my favorite part of necromancers, other then being the most unique class in emotes, for guys at least).

I'd still say an in-game version of the picture I quoted in my earlier post, mainly because of the hair.
