since i got a new computer my guild wars seems to either freeze or turn the screen completely black and it loops the last sound over and over and over etc. read some posts about it here before.
but it's NOT overheating, all my drivers are up to date, etc etc. this problem only seems to occur in guild wars as well. anyone any possible solutions?

running on:
Windows Vista 32 bits
intel core 2 quad cpu q6600 @ 2.40 ghz
& 2x nvidia geforce 9600 gt

try using whatever drivers were directly preceding the most recent ones... some people have had issues with the latest drivers not being compatible with GW on Vista. It's worth trying.

Im pretty sure that its the 2X nvidia geforce your running dual vid cards and guildwars is not set up for that. my friend recently bought a new pc and had this same problem you need to set it up so that it only runs off xp setting for guildwars so you dont dual cross vid cards and they wont get confused. you will loose the newest version of direct x for guildwars but it will not make a difference becuz guildwars isnt set up for anything above directX 8-9 cant remember.
