i noticed that the typical motigon build uses song of purification, but what are its advantages and disadvantages over/under its just a flesh wound?

Song of purification doesnt have a condition (really), and is party wide.

A comparison I can think of would be why run RC over martyr, if both had a low recharge, and neither had a heal.

Party wide condition control > single target.

Song of Purification, or Cautery Signet.

If "It's Just a Flesh Wound!" healed aswell as removed conditions, I would go with that. I don't spec prot on my Paragons.

but with its one second recharge, would it be worth it to put it on a hero and have it spam it?

i understand the party vs one argument, but SoP only removes one condition per skill used, whereas ijafw gets rid of it all.

hmm, i might have to go cap restore condition.. haha

SoP also works when anyone uses a skill vs a spell which really helps keep your physicals clean. A war can hit into a stance and remove blind at the same time, it also is a lot nicer when you get a constant condi in an area you can party wide remove vs a healer trying to spot remove.
