I remastered Episode 2. It was originally done in powerdirector before I had Vegas, so I completely reworked it.

wow, plugging your own video and calling it 'awesome' actually made me refuse to watch any more. I watched episodes one and two after seeing the other thread, but after seeing this one and you're 'awesome new guild wars video' trick I suddenly have no wish to continue watching. Tip: Over advertising can be a negative thing. Especially when your other thread is pretty much just below this one...

Spam to get more views turns me off.

edit: I know that came out sounding bitchy, but I actually mean it as constructive criticism. It's not a good idea to alienate your viewers, and this thread has pretty much done that to me, and I'm sure it has to others who are just not posting here.

Agreed with pamelf. A mod needs to merge these two threads. Pointless to over-advertise. And never good to over-promote (i.e., calling it awesome) what your advertising.

However, because I liked the first 3, I will watch the rest, even if the voice acting is bad and low on enthusiasm in the tones. Still good videos, but just stated bad points.

Um... yeah... don't care. My youtube and guru friends are still close, and support me whatever, and most applauded me when I made a second thread here and tripled my view count overnight. People that get offended because they weren't keeping tabs on my other thread or were staying anonymous because they didn't care, and only 'suddenly care' were never really friends of mine to begin with.

If you want I'll go ahead and make a new thread every time I make a new video. I put enough time into them and work to advertise and support them hard enough that they ALL deserve 500 views and their own thread on multiple internet sites. And if you think my work DOESN'T deserve that, then you're no fan of my work, and I'll keep my ads as is and get better quality viewers.

This thread is nearly two months old, and that does not mean that every time I post a video here I think it's 'an awesome new video' that everyone should watch.

Again I say,

This thread is for people who have not seen my videos, and didn't bother looking at my old thread, or only gave it a gander and never watched. In that aspect this thread has been incredibly successfull.

I could be the guy that posts spammy posts throughout guru, in places where it doesn't belong, and then says nothing to back up what he says or defend his statements, but I'm not, and am offended that you think so.

I've noticed a trend to beligerate people that actually have an opinion or care about anything in the world, and your need to nullify everything and spread hatred is exactly what the mods need to put a stop to.

No offense, but your videos are good, but I think you're over-stepping how good they are. Let the views come in as they come. Put new posts in your old thread to bring it back up. I get making a new thread so it is seen on the home page of Guru, but after that, it is pointless to keep it. That is why I didn't bother posting before (that and I liked the videos enough not to criticize).

4 D, you are taking this waaaay to seriously to be honest. You need to calm down. I never insulted you, Pamelf only insulted you to the point of having no need for this second thread - which I only agree with in terms of no need for it now.

Feel free to advertise your video, but over-advertising it becomes annoying to others. But no need to update both a new and old thread - make a new thread and let the old one die. Go ahead and make a third thread if you want (and if you finished your series, I got to watch the rest still) but if you do, let the old thread(s) die out in the back of the forum.

That anyone would stop watching my videos on the basis of personally disliking any of my actions is alarming, insulting and hard not to take personally.

Anyone who takes that attitude is not worth the time of day of keeping as a fan, and this was my point. I qualify this by saying you were not the person that said this, and so the above was not directed at you, but in general to the three or so above.

All that being said, I agree with you now that this thread has outlived its usefulness. Thanks for the advice ^_^
