I know most peeps dont put a lot of stock in the titles anymore, but I just completed my survivor title and it made my gaming experience much more enjoyable. It made me think about situations and mission, made me into a very careful puller, and gave me a whole new appreciation of just how stupid Henchmen are, lol. I actually went through 4 characters (Got killed at lvl9, lvl18 and 345k (That one made me cry)) before finally getting my Survivor on the last one, I did not use any HFF or boxing to get my title, it was all just through hard work completing missions and grinding mobs and it took me just over a month to get, I must admitt things got actually quite easy when I upgraded and went into Nightfall and got heroes!! The key was just being carefull and mapping quickly if I was getting in trouble. I am now playing a new character and trying for Legenday Defender of Ascalon, already at level10 which is easy enough, although I no longer get any XP from mobs, so looks like its on to Death Levelling and a long long long grind. At the moment my lvl10 char has no Death Penalty, is it possible to get LDOA and Survivor on the same character?? If so anyone got a guide as I could not find one using search??

First, congrats on your survivor title!
As far as your LDOA, you will still get Xp from the charr and bosses across the wall until you reach level 16. After that you will have to death level.
There is currently no know way to get both LDOA ans survivor on the same character, there was a way that it could be done but it has been fixed. Good luck with your LDOA!

I'm on my first attempt at a survivor char too. She was already at 500k xp, just from doing missions and quests etc. Now I'm just throwing in the towel though and have gotten to Lutgardis for some heavy hfff'ing. Reason? She's my first ranger, and I really want to play without having to keep a constant eye on my health bar and/or sending MM heroes in before me. I think 500k xp from just playing is good enough. And on my first survivor char

Congrats x2. One for getting the title, and another for doing it the real way. Haste makes waste, caution is awesome, it really isn't terribly hard once you get heroes, just like you said, be careful, and map out or log out when things look ugly.
And no, I don't think it is possible any longer to get both titles. I think that only happened a couple of times, and it was a bug exploit or something.
