Couple of Questions!

I have been away from GW for a while. I gave my account to my little nephew and he really destroyed it, which kinda bites since it was a great account. Anyway starting over fresh from scratch. Is guild wars still highly populated and loaded with players? Or does it seem like its dieing down?

Did I miss the Halloween event? I hope not. Have not checked the events but I see the halloween art contest going on so I think I have time before its starts.

I want to get Guild Wars Complete Collection from the UK. I live in the US. Will there be problems playing it? I would rather get that then the trilogy since I can get it for about the same price. Maybe 10 bucks and it comes with all 4 games.

Well thats it for questions. Thanks for the answers and time.

1) It is still quite populated, but it is definately dying down.
2) Halloween is coming up soon, u havent missed it
3) Wont make a difference, the game is all the same. The UK edition will probably just mean u start in the european districts rather then US, and its easy to switch over.

Hope This Helped

It doesn't matter which edition you purchase. When you register the account your are asked for your default server and you pick the one you want. But all that means is that when you start up the game, that is the server you will be on. Changing servers is like changing districts now and you use the same controls.

Territories (server areas) are explained here http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Territory

If you go outside of the port cities, the TotA, or the popular farming run areas the game is totally dead.

Thats about the same as it was a year ago when I left the game. Some people in the towns but not many. They were mostly in the major towns. I guess they need to pump out that GW2.

I just tried other games and found they were not as fun as GW so I decided to come back.

It's rather dead during the week, but on the weekends it tends to pick up a bit.

I wouldn't agree on that at all...

Especially if u go to the US districts. In all my early days I played on the european servers because that's where my friends are. When Anet opened up free jumping between territories I got a real eye opener...

Take the Sunspear Santuray... or Piken Square is an even better example...

Piken is like the 6th or 7th city u visit in the game, I donnu I didn't count. One might asume players have gotten past that outpost by now and are striding forward around the end of the game. Partly true...

In european Piken, the Henchmen are almost about to leave the outpost as well, but in the US version...

Went to Piken Square [US] the other day (don't ask me why) and it was CROWDED! I mean ... wow! The chat window was scrolling like I don't know what... I later on went to Sunspear Sanctuary, another pretty deserted place as well. FULL of peeps... And there are kind of newbie outposts

I would like to say GW is NOT dead OR dying... New players log in everyday, played with a total newbie the other day whos armor wasn't even infused, and he was in Abaddons Mouth

I'm in a great guild where the spirit is REAL high! If all u care about is fancy armor, cool titles and timed FOW runs, perhaps u misunderstood the purpose of an MMORPG... It's all about the people! Me and a bunch of 30+ players or so just can't wait to quit work everyday so we can go home and join up in GW and have fun! If u get into a great guild too, GW will frakking never die!!! LOL

/Peace

You don't know how happy that makes me feel. I was a huge helper player. Would just go and jump on mission areas and grab a bunch of new player needing help and show them how its done.

I am sure I will be a bit rusty for a month or 2... I love feeling all nooby again. Feeling new is so fun.

I am also hopeing I can drag some of my friends from the game I am currently playing. To much drama in it as well as scammers and hackers. 70-80 times more then I ever saw in Guild Wars.

As for guilds, I plan to make my own. Not caring if anyone joins it, its more of a place for me to hang and just chill.

Well thanks for the boost there. Now as soon as I get my game I will be very happy.
