Buying Factions
Kagome
I'm planning on buying factions because I fell in LOVE with the ritualist class! <3 Is it a good time to buy it or should I just wait for GW2? Where could I buy it cheap?

You got a while before GW2 hits, so I'd say go for it. Not sure about cheapest places, though.

Not to mention that GW2 will probably not have the Ritualist (been said that none of the old professions will stay for GW2, but I assume the core professions will just get renamed), so if you want to play a Ritualist, buy Factions.
Can't help with cheapest place, you'll have to look around, just do not buy from the online store if you want cheap.

You have enough time to beat the campaign in NM, HM, vanquish it and max out your Luxon/Kurzick title.

Absolutely, go ahead and get Factions. After sort of dismissing the ritualist at first glance, I'm now really enjoying playing one.
As to where to buy, keep in mind the overall costs including your time:
1. Buy at local store - get it fairly quickly but you have to figure in the time it takes to go there and gas money spent for the trip (for those like me that live an hour away from any store)
2. Order it from online 3rd party dealer - usually cheapest (watch out for S&H charges) but you usually have to wait 3 to 10 days for it to arrive and hope the delivery person doesn't leave it somewhere it might get stolen (if no one is home) or left out in the rain
3. Purchase in the online store - costs more than most places and you don't get anything other than an activation key. But you can start playing right away and all of the money goes to ArenaNet / NCSoft, not some middlemen

Earliest GW2 comes out is 2010. I've seen plenty of ppl who maxed everything there is in factions in around a year...go ahead and get it!! Even if you don't feel like maxing it's fun as hell, mid factions scenery imo the best in the game.
