HoM Merchant
Div
In light of the ursan nerf, it seems like some players are having trouble completing elite zones again and prices of items in those areas have gone up. But how2farm now?
Well, fear no more!
Upon completion of all 3 GW games and beating the Great Destroyer in EotN, a new merchant appears in your HoM. He's only there when you're the only one in the party (similar to rainbow phoenix).
Through the merchant, you are able to buy incredibly powerful support items that can only be used in elite zones.
For example, here are some items:
Carrier:
350g, 250 tempered glass vial
Double-click to summon.
You summon a level 32 carrier. It is able to use summon interceptor. You may only have one carrier at any time.
Carrier stats: 300 health, 50 energy, 150 armor, and magic resistance (like what bosses have). Doesn't attack.
Summon interceptor: 10 energy, 1.8s activation. Cannot be interrupted. You may only have eight interceptors at any time.
Interceptor stats: Level 10, 40 health, 20 energy, 40 armor. Wand-range attack for 6-9 damage with 1.5s cooldown.
Goliath:
100g, 50 tempered glass vial
Double-click to summon.
You summon a level 20 goliath. You may only have three goliaths at any time.
Goliath stats: 125 health, 0 energy, 100 armor. Recurve bow range attack for 12-15 damage with 2.2s cooldown. Fires longbow range dual missiles towards bosses, each doing 10-13 damage.

This would discard the entire fact that these areas are supposed to be harder than all the other areas.

But I like the idea of consumables that summon temporary allies that can be used anywhere.

/notsigned. Anet wouldn't add it anyway. Plus, if you can't beat an "elite" area in NM with a full party of 8, PvE-only skills and titles, and a full conset you're pretty much made of fail anyway, and shouldn't be there. Sorrow's Furnace, Underworld, Fissure of Woe, The Deep, Urgoz's Warren, and DoA were all completable before EoTN even came out, even in HM. There's no reason you can't still beat them using the same methods that were previously used; People have simply grown stupid and lazy thanks to Ursan.
DoA, for example, could very likely be completed in a team of 2~4 players and 4~6 heroes in HM, with R8 lightbringer, a full conset, and some PvE-only skills from EoTN. If you can't, do Normal Mode. If you can't do that, you simply need to get better at the game, not add/buy overly-expensive items that further ease completion.
(Plus, if the cost to payoff ratio isn't good, nobody would use them anyway.)

ppl will simply have to start goin ballanced teams again and not be lazy, we did everything be4 ursan, no reason to not to do it after the nerf, especially with the PvE elites boost

Nice one. And at this point in game, when they already made everything a walk trough the park, sure why not...
Hell, add this:
Doppelganger:
1000g, 250 tempered glass vial
Double-click to summon.
You summon a level 28 Doppelganger. You may only have 1 Doppelganger at any time.
Doppelganger has your equipment and stats scaled to fit level 28. He has 5 PIPs of health and energy regeneration. When killed Doppelganger is respawned at one level less (28->27->26...) until killed at level 1.
edit: And just to piss people off:
Grow:
1000g, 250 Monstrous Fangs
Double-click to use.
Your currently used minipet is transformed to full size.
Your currently used minipet is transformed to full size with level, stats and skill mimicking the character it was modeled from. Only 1 grown minipet can be used per person.

edit2: People are taking OP seriously? huh?

A suggested improvement:
if you go to kamaden district 1 and type: "greedisgood!" in all chat, you get 1g

We already have consumables for this.
If the ursan nerf is a problem, then I suggest to un-nerf Ursan instead of things like this.

If this happens, we wont be able to get in an area unless everyone in the party has one of those items..

This is a joke thread, isn't it?
But if you really want more consumables, there's a way I would agree with more:
EotN affiliations have consumables. 3 of those consumables are common, and then each affiliation has its 'specialty':
- Norn have the Grails of Might.
- Dwarves have the Armor of Salvation.
- Asura have the Essence of Celerity
- And the Vanguard have Powerstones of Courage.
Luxon/Kurzick have teleport scrolls, but they can't be used in any explorable.
So, I would agree to give the other affiliations their own Consumable NPC, and their specialties, along the common consumables.
- Scrolls of Vigilante's Insignt for Luxon/Kurzick. An item that temporarily increases the amount of points earned with bounties.
- Lightbringer would get "Secret Veils", and item that increases duration of enchantments and reduces durations of hexes.
- Sunspear would get "Solar Blazons", and item that makes any skill used over any of the members of the party have a 10% chance to fail.
- Shinning Blade would get "Pure Water" an item that reduces duration of conditions and reduces the chances of getting infected by other creature's disease.
I would also agree with adding consumable crafters summoning items, but they should have to be somehow expensive:
- Asura would get the already existing golems.
- Norn would summon a Totem animal: Bear for AL80 professions, wolves for AL70 and ravens for AL60 ones.
- Dwarves would summon the already existing Ghost Dwarves.
- Vanguard would summon 'reinforcements squads' a team of 4 level 15 Vanguard soldiers: A ranger, an assassin, a dervish and a monk. When one of them dies, all of them vanish.
If summons where added also to other affiliations:
- Lightbringer would be fine with a 'merchant djinn'. That would follow the party but won't fight, and would have the same items to sell as any Guild Hall merchant.
- For Sunspear would fit a 'mini-bombard', which would have a lot of armor and spirit range, but would stay in the spot it was summoned and won't move. So another one would be needed to affect things out of range o the first one.
- For Luxon there would be, of course, "Young Siege Turtles" level 20 weaker and smaller versions of Siege Turtles.
- For Kurizick there would be "Sprout Juggernauts" again, level 20 weak versions of juggernauts.
- And for the Shinning Blade, a tangling seed, that is also unmovable once used, but has spirit range. Every 3 seconds, it would target a random enemy within range and deal a random effect to that enemy:
* Knockdown.
* Crippling.
* Interruption.
* Weakness.
* Poison
* Bleeding
* 50 Piercing damage
* 50 Slashing damage
Since a party can have only one summon at a time and each party member can summon only once thing per hour, it's not important how many they are available, people will have to choose.
* Sunspear Crafter would be at the Great Hall, and would attend customers with Sunspear Rank 6 or higher.
* Lightbringer Crafter would be at the Chantry of Secrets, and would require rank 2 to craft items.
* Kurzick/Luxon would be in their towns.
* Shinning Blade Crafter would be at Denravi, and require beating at least 12 missions of the Campaign.
