Does anyone know what kind of heroes would synergize very well with a ritualist?
If you don't know what you're talking about, and just those cookie cutter n00bs who say "sabsway" simply because it is a trinity, then please don't post here.
I want actual advice and reasons.

Personally, I was thinking an orders derv can be useful. I love using phys, so chances are I will run spirit's strength at one point, with volley. So it seems like having Mox cast order of pain would greatly increase DPS. But I am unsure on what others to use.

other options would be more of a "filling in teh required role needed"
rather than "synergizing wit teh rit's capabilities"

Problem with physicals are pathing issues. They have a hard time getting to and locking on their target. If you're going to go Splinter/barrage or Spirit's Strength/Volley then go ahead and bring a D/N orders hero along with a bunch of ranged physicals (Think Paras and Rangers). If you have an imbagon with you, put dark fury on the derv bar. Just watch out with enchantment removal. If it's heavy, alter your setup then for whatever's needed.

Personally, I find myself run a whole variety of builds from SS/Volley to Ebon Assassin/Assassin's Promise spam to your standard channeling/Resto hybrid build so it's hard for me to always stick to just 3 heroes. Just don't forget, if you over-specialize your team setup, your weaknesses will become that much stronger.

The issue with running as a physical with SS is that you're giving up the insanity that is keeping godly weapon spells (Splinter, Warmongers, Dwarf) on additional party members because you simply don't have the energy nor the slots to do so.
But when I am in the mood to try that - Moxy runs Orders + 2 ranger heroes. That way I got the most out of Favorable Winds.

Mostly though I just run a Discord team.
Not because they would fit well with the ritualist - but because nothing fits badly with multiple Aegises, Enfeebling, The Wall and spammable 100+ damage.

It depends on what build ur running. If ur running a resto rit build, then theres no necessary synergy in any one build.

If ur running a Spirits strength build, then orders is never bad. And therefore bring more physicals. If /W and can get SY on ur bar then consider running the racway builds.

An option I always liked was a MM Bomber, SF Ele and Command Paragon with ToF. Minions hold the enemies in place for searing flames damage, which allows the paragon to reduce damage from ToF. Can bring stunning strike on the para too, its quite nice. But again, it depends on what build ur using for its synergy.

I'd say use three necs ups.

People use them not because the are cookie cutter n00bs, but because they are good players and understand the synergy, versatility and power of the build and know that taking rac's not being an imbagon is bad, so dont be dumb.

What youcan do is tweak your necroes, which is for example, taking weapon of Quickenning that would make them cast faster, tak splinter if you are confident about casting it on minion wall or going to heal yourself freeing a charatcer slot, or doing everything at once. Or you could go SS Scythe, that would be even bettahr.

You could try and go discordway with promise spirit spammer though but spirit spammer is slow, discordway is fast, bad synergy.

Generally you are a caster, can aswell take those aweasome pve only skills, wards, ebsoh for example, if you really want some extreme, take some IA rangers, take GDA and EBSOH yourself with an orders dervish/necromancer AND WATCH THE EXTREME POWNAGE!

You refuse to use to use sabway/discord way simply because many people use it? That doesn't sound like a very good idea, sabway is a great build. Take out splinter on the N/Rt healer and re-spec its channeling attribute somewhere else. Then you can carry splinter weapon on your bar for melee henchmen/other players. Feel free to change the builds to fit your play style, I changed my heroes to fit my build better and HM is a real breeze (for the most part).

If you insist on not running sabway/discordway then feel free to play around with any profession combination. All I have to say is melee is great with a rit on the team and you should probably at least bring one necro. As has already been mentioned, if you go heavy physical an orders derv can only help.

Don'ttttttttttt take splinter weapon!!! WTF??? GDW >>>> Splinter. Go ahead and rush to get GDW and max out dwarf rank.

After you staple GDW to your bar, fill it with whatever you want. Minion bomber or resto healer are good options.

Just an idea: take 2x barrage rangers + orders derv.
