Channel Suggestion

To prevent spamming in All Chat.......Maybe add a "recruting" Channel for guilds and those looking for a guild.

This would lower the spamming in All chat, those not interested in looking for a guild could turn this channel off.

This has been suggested several times.

Until they add this (IF they ever do), just report the recruiters who are spamming, It's not that hard, unless they've got a name like "llll lllll llllllllll lll", which is just obnoxious.

There is one, its in party search....

I did do a forums search 1st, i couldnt find anything like this.

Maybe I did not do a proper search, If it has been suggested before (sry) maybe bringing it back up will refresh the idea to the DEV's.

Also, this would be a great idea but it wouldn't do much in the end. People still sell in local chat regardless of reporting, people would still spam recruiting in local.

A waste of time, even if they do add it noone is gonna use it just like with the trade channel people spam WTS in allchat all the the time. Nothing happens you cant change the player base just by adding a chat channel, and Anet doesn't care about it that much to even waste time on it. Use the party search if you WTS or WTB or use better utilities like this one for example.

People do WTS in all chat still but..........remember how it use to be? If not All Chat + Trade Channel=What it was like before. Now u can just toggle off the mas spam while in Kama if your not buying or selling.

This would be usefull in places like AB, Great Temple, Kama, RA, TA, HA we a vast majority of the Recruitershang out.

I advocate an instant (and permanent) account ban and guild deletion if you're caught advertising in local chat. Doesn't anyone care about the quality of people they recruit? I always laugh when I see someone recruiting in towns because their guilds are probably full of spam like GYUS I NED A SVALG KIT DOS NE1 HAVE 1 PLZ or maybe GUYX WHAR IS STORGE.

The way to do this is to put another tap in G panel and post a recruitment message all players would see this when they press thier G panel.
