Exhaustion causing on enemy

Exhaustion can be a powerful thing in my opinion if GIVEN to an opponent. For PvE, Would it be viable to use a couple motivation (or imbagon if you have humans) paragons to keep your team alive with an Equinox ranger to shutdown caster heavy areas? Or is the loss of necro's and other spell casters on your own team not worth it?
since physical damage is more effective in pvp (since HM monsters have insane armor) would it be worth it to build a team around equinox and motivation paragons to have support? Being a spirit it IS vulnerable to attack BUT it has a relatively low recharge for a ranger spirit.
Also, why is arcane languor not used more with a cover hex?
Do you think Causing exhaustion to ENEMIES (not self exhaustion like eles use) should play a larger role in pve or pvp to increase the pressure? Monks (and a flag runner rit) can keep a party alive in gvg for a very long time despite having less room for energy management. I agree that it takes skill to become a great monk and I am not trying to punish them. I am just trying to make it that no matter how good you are, after a certain amount of time, it becomes extremely hard to keep a team alive because...I dunno, I just think it should be. I would like to see more pressure personally in a pvp aspect. I don't know.
What do you think about all this? Is it fine as is?
Also, as a side note, I believe the areas with Equinox should have monsters modified next to them that take advantage of other skills that heal so they don;t cause exhaustion themselves. Just a thought.

Exhaustion would be greatly overpowered in PvP if it was easily given. It's ridiculously strong because it doesn't go away at death. For the record, one of the most fun things I've ever done in RA was a Arcane Echo/Arcane Languor/Equinox mesmer. I had monks in RA yelling death threats
In fact, I might do that again in a little while.

Exhaustion on PVP is extremely powerful. It can shut down a caster in a hurry. With no way to remove its effects except waiting out the time. To powerful of an effect other than an elite spot. Not to mention a class specific attribute based skill as well.

Edit: Nvm, I see. But anyway this wouldn't be an Arcane Languor/Equinox "mesmer" but "team" then.

There might have been syncing with a guildie involved......
I don't do it very often unless we start talking about hilarious ideas to try, for example Equinox with Arcane Languor. Hell, I'm the only one who will PvP in my guild anyway, gimmicks have to be made to make them play it.

Exhaustion would be toomuch preasure if it was easily applied...it dosent go away with death, and takes a long time to go away.

I can't even take you seriously... hahaha
physicals are MORE effective compared to casters in hard mode because physical bonus damage is not affected by armor. and they pressure through auto attacks.
