I've been playing GW since it was released and have been a member of numerous guilds - always in and out for various reasons..either the guild mates are too arrogant to associate with - or you get dropped because you havent played in 5 days..you join one guild because you're bored and its the easiest way to find people to play with - and you join another guild just to stand in the hall and look cool..

So, i made my own guild - because in the end, i kinda realized the only thing i ever really wanted out of a guild, in my experience, was the quick access to full hall benefits..selfish, i know..but we all know the players that surround us..and a lot of them (maybe even you) are either careless, or much too attached to their in-game ego..

being a huge RPG fan, i always imagined an online guild as a place of planning towards progress, dedication based on loyalty rather than play time, an alternate discussion forum, and a chance to build friendships..i've never tried to recruit for my guild because i'd like to stay away from the large base of players who simply do not have any of these qualities..and thats no offense to people who care more about achieving their next title over just having a good time..death grievers and the like, its just to state that i have no patience for such people..i've never played this game to only log off at the end of the night feeling aggravated because i died 100 times trying to complete a mission..i've always only had fun - live or die - and thats all i ask for from other players..

i figure, though, that i should at least try and gather up some like minded people if they are willing to enjoy their time here with other like minded people..so i am currently recruiting..and i am looking to get people who're mature with great integrity and genuine personalities..people who play the game for fun - where having fun is more important than any in-game accomplishment..intelligent people with ideas, people who like to discuss and debate, people who're humble and treat others with respect, people who're open minded, people with a great sense of humor, as well as many of the other traits that go along with the territories of these qualities..

the guild format will incorporate anything we all can agree upon..i'm open to all ideas and suggestions on how we can make the guild and the game more fun for YOU!..anything from scheduled round table discussions - to competitive in-guild events..right now, i'd like to keep the guild around 20 people - so we can all build a comfortable understanding with the people we'll be associating with..after this, expansion is definitely on the bill..i'd like to go for a guild where everyone has a significant hand in the decision making..a guild of smart, knowledgeable players who know what they're talking about without bullshitting in circles..i'd like to work with members on an equal level basis because i believe it promotes a better understanding of team involvement, as well as player respect..no decisions will be made until we can all agree on making them..ideas not agreed on can always be flipped and made more appealing..i'd like for the players to be independent knowledge wise, being able to tackle tasks in a format where every question has an answer..where helping someone is a learning experience more than it is a teaching one..

again, this is opening as a guild on a fresh start..not one that is being rebuilt..not one with all of the perks, like a full hall, vent, 80+ members, a cool cape, and a website..its a fresh start - one where you'll be able to see the results of your contributions..one where you can actually contribute for that matter even..so in this respect, of course, many things still need to be fleshed out - these are just the core ideas of what i personally would like to see..

just some info on me incase you're wondering: I am a 30 year old guy, i've played GW since it was released and have logged more than 1200 hours in-game..maybe not as much as some people have in that period of time - but enough to know the game well - again I'm a 30 year old guy and i live the life of one..i'm a journalism major still in college and i write as a hobby as well..i work in the restaurant industry and i love this game..anything else you want to know you can ask me in-game..

if this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, then hit me up in-game and we'll talk about it..again, the main thing is to have fun - to enjoy your time here with people who enjoy your company as much as you enjoy theirs..

thanks for reading if you did in-fact read and i hope to hear from you..
