Hex Eater Vortex.
When this skill was nerfed due to GvG usage, it was almost overshadowed by Shatter Hex in PvE.
My suggestion is to restore it back to its original power in PvE.
So,
Hex Eater Vortex (PvP) 10e 1c 15r
Elite Spell. Remove a hex from target ally. If a hex is removed in this way, foes near that ally take 30...78...90 damage and lose one enchantment.
Hex Eater Vortex (PvE) 10e 1c 12r
Elite Spell. Remove a hex from target ally. If a hex is removed in this way, foes near that ally take 30...90...120 damage and lose one enchantment.
Basically now this makes it better than Shatter Hex in PvE, which it should be.

No, there should be LESS difference between PvP and PvE, not more.

The formats are completely different compared to AI and humans so A difference in skills is nothing to be angsty about.

i agree with numa. there shouldnt be a difference. there are many elites with different uses for this exact reason. an example would be cleave vs. evis. instead of the breaking of skills into two different skills one for pvp one for pve, they should be the same always. adapt your game to where you are. hex eater vortex, if you look at the uses and functions, was clearly designed as a pvp elite. there are very few enchants in pve that you need to have removed in a manner that hex eater is needed for.
Which means every elite must be balanced with AP in mind.
With no new content?
For players that have been playing for almost 4 years?
Easy mode is everything there is because the players outgrew the persistent world.

Like I said.
No point. I wouldn't bother running HEV because Shatter does the same thing and allows me to run AP.
HEV loses.

No, PvE skills and easy mode are there because the farmers threw tantrums every time any skill anywhere was changed, as the worst thing farmers know is to have to adapt.

No turning back now!
Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haw! *cough* *cough*
You know what I mean. Time machines do not exist. This is 2008, not 2005.
Anet already takes very seriously splits. They won't do a split unless a skill it's so useless in PvE that it's barely ever used, excepting for those that try builds or new players.
They won't do a split any time someone comes here and suggest it, but they won't stop doing them if they think that would come in handy and add more game to the game.
So far I'm fine with all splits. Specially those that are good for Elementalist.
