Something got me thinking lately.
Is it right that a r3 champions monument in HoM should give the same reward in GW2 as a r6 champion?
Is it right that a r3 heros monument in HoM should give the same reward in GW2 as a r15 hero?
Is it right that a r3 glads monument in HoM should give the same reward in GW2 as a r9 glad?
Is it right that a r4 kurz/luxon monument in HoM should give the same reward in GW2 as a r12 kurz/luxon?
I think not, I cant help being diasappointed that there are no tiered monuments for pvp ranks in the HoM.
I for one want my tiger to get a better reward in GW2 than a bambi does.
I know a lot of pvp titles are farmable too but it still takes a hell of a lot more time.
So should there be tiered monuments for higher pvp ranks in Hom?
Thoughts?

No that isnt the same, as you can only add asuran at r10 when it is maxed.
Afaik only Pvp titles can be added to HoM when they arent maxed out.
The only pve similarity is Koabd, which is tiered. So we guess there will be better rewards.

Meh.
I'd say that those ranks requested in the HoM (used to) show that a player has a decent understanding of how said arena works and is worthy of being rewarded for that. Working further is almost just more of the same, and doesn't really need rewarded/recognized in a new game.
The real recognition in PvP should come from a player's reputation with the community in what they've done in PvP and how well they've done it, not by how much they've grinded out for points.

Well, the truth may be a r3 Champion may give the same reward as a Protector of Tyria. We know nothing, it may be any 5 statues for a 'full' monument, which ofcourse would SUCK.
While I don't care about what the actual rewards in GW2 are, I'd really like them to release info about *what counts* for getting them. Right now I have very little faith in Anet doing the whole HoM rewarding right. That's because it seems unbelievable that they would add a reward for every achievement, there are just sooo many of different ones.
They should at least answer this question:
Does having more achievements unlocked than can be displayed give any benefits?
I mean adding a 6th armor set or 12th weapon or 21th minipet or just another achievement (like a "Eternal Zaishen Supporter") to "Honor" monument if I already have 40+ of them there.
Anyway, I'm all for tiered PvP rewards, so a higher title would give better benefits, so there's a point to getting that r6 champion for example. That would be a straight improvement.

A.Net wanted to do us a favor (thus doing a favor for themselves - since this way the players at least stay interested in the game because they have an obtainable goal in front of them) by allowing non-max titles for lines which are otherwise (relatively speaking) impossible to max.
If the players feel that the tier that can be shown in HoM is to low (eg. less worthy) - then I have no issues with allowing just the max title to be shown.
Is it right that a player that doesn't even have a max title should be able to show it? It's not like EVERYONE needs to be able to add everything!
On topic of multiple rewards for one title - I do not see the need for it.
The less GW1 stuff that passes onto GW2 - the better.

ANet could have just made GW2. The HoM is really a favor when you think about it, so I say let it be. Focus on the title balancing, not the rewards the statues may offer.

I agree that the monument should at least show the actual highest tier of a PvP title rank that a player obtained. Which for example allows a r12 Kurzick to distinguish him/herself from a r4.
