I've tried making one, but it's not so good now. I've searched and ain't found any. Anybody got a good W/R build? When attacking with weapons, and no bows, I use swords.

Well if you searched, then maybe under the builds directory there might be some, but when it comes down to the wire I like to experiment with reconstucting my build to fit whatever I wish, so experiment use your imagination who knows you might even come up with some elite w/r build that will be used repeatedly such as the "XXX griffon build"

I'll help you out a bit. First you can train in Swordmanship, Strength, Tactics, and Beast Mastery. Swordmanship is so you can do basic physical damage. Strength is so you can do more damage and also wield a good shield. Tactics is so you can heal with Healing Signet. And for Beast Mastery, you can have a pet so when it dies just use IWAY.

IWAY...so many depend on it,but it is mediocre in PvE unless your whole team dies. Not to mention unoriginal.I say find an elite skill that you like and build upon that.If you are adrenaline based, then the sword will due you justice. However,if you experiment with the full scope of the warrior, you will find that sword is limited in places where opponents don't bleed, like the middle of Kryta. There, the axe is king.Meaning you need to tweek your build for the undead.W/R is as pure a warrior as you get,but don't neglect the bow.it will come in handy.Pets are good for soloing, but they are a hinderance when they die. Skill bar resets and the window of failure opens up. Hence, the creation of the IWAY build.Dangerous in 8 on 8,but nearly useless alone in the enviornment.Experiment with lightning reflexes and the expertise skills of the ranger. They may not be the full blown version that a R/W gets to use,but they will come in handy at times.

As a general rule, you shouldn't bother with most of the ranger skills. The few I personally use are:

Antidote Signet (blindness? What Blindness?)
Apply Poison: 100 blades or cyclone axe, it's damned good fun giving mass poison. If you have high tactics the elite 'Victory is Mine' is fun with this)
Melandru's Resiliance: sounds weird, but as a warrior you're liekly the first to get hexed and conditioned, so this can potentially be a good elite.
