Hey guys,
I am stuck in a dilemma. I have finished prophecies and nearly factions, however I am beginning to realize that I need to upgrade my hero's... Thing is I can't farm without strong hero's so I can't get money to buy new hero skills.
Secondly, I can't get my hand on the epic trio of Necro's (sabway). The reason is I need to do NF to get Master Of Whispers, and I need to do EoTN to get Livia.
Can anyone post me some hero builds, that I might be able to use, or give me some advice in which campaign to do first etc. I would love it thanks again.

What might be interesting to try it to make a completely new character and do the starting quests with it - since they give you skills (thus unlocking them for heroes) and some money, and then spend the money to buy new skills on THAT character since the first few skills cost you considerably less then 1k.
Then you delete the guy and start a new one of a different class.
The downside is the fact that you are very limited with the selection of unlocked skills available at the trader.

the fastest way to max out your heroes is to purchase the skill packs for all the campaigns from the online store... the cheapest way to max out your heros is to do Alliance Battles non-stop and purchase the desired skills with your balthazar faction.
Weapons can be covered by using /bonus weapons or collectors items until you have enough for greens.
Runes are easy and cheap enough to use as you come across them.
What is your primary profession? most professions have solo builds for farming. Also you can always join dungeon teams or pay for CoF runs which gets you some pretty good loot.
Gold is really easy to come by in Guild Wars. There are many more ways to farm gold besides using heroes.

Heroes have access to all unlocked skills on your account so you can 'buy' hero skills with Balthazar faction, which is rather easily obtained from the Isle of the Nameless and various forms of PvP.

What Amy said. Just pvp for a bit, or farm the zaishen teams. Also, you can unlock skills with other characters, and they'll be available for use by all heroes on your whole account.
Plus hero skill points also give free skills, taking time to farm points but costing no money.

just do quests and pvp till you have enough gold/faction to get the skills
