Keylogger checking and removal~!

Huzzah, so in my dad's infinite wisdom, I do believe he might have gone to a link that installed a keylogger. Usually this wouldn't be a problem, except the silly guy disabled my noscript by accident, and the link was suspicious to me, so I believe it might be a keylogger.

Now, I have done a NOD32 scan and it has reported a fully clean PC. Usually this is enough to make me feel okay, because NOD32 is the best, but well, I just want to make sure I'm safe. I've never had to deal with keyloggers before (firmly believe in prevention, which is why I use noscript, etc to stop these things before they happen), so I don't know good programs to detect & remove them.

Any assistance would be neccessary, mind you I am not 100% sure I have a keylogger in the first place, so any help would be appreciated, thanks.

AVG, Adaware, Spybot, HijackThis - those are the most common ones that come to mind. Nothing is bound to catch everything, obviously, but the more you run the more chance you have.

Please download my Anti-Malware Toolkit and get the Professional package. Then follow the directions in the PC Cleanup guide.

Once complete, you can post a HijackThis log to have analyzed.

(Trying this again, it said I needed moderator approval, but maybe it was because I cleared all the info)

All the scanners in your kit (I grabbed it already prior hand) said I have nothing. RogueRemover/MalewareByte AntiMalware/Spybot/SUPERAntiSpyware and NOD32 all said I had nothing.

Looking over your log I see you need to update your Java. Uninstall 1.6 Update 1 from Add or Remove Programs.

Visit Sun's Java website and get Update 10. After installing it, download and run JavaRa to get rid of the leftovers from Update 1.

You can also run StartupLite.

I highly recommend uninstalling all toolbars on the system.

Right on Snog. Toolbars hook into the IECore which also controls Windows Explorer (like your taskbar) and other important related items. A malicious toolbar or an install that goes wrong can cause a lot of problems for Windows itself.
