sweet tooth/drunkard/party animal title question

hi, it's Halloween and I'm going for these titles. I've been farming ToT bags and I'm wondering if I should sell the bags to create funds to buy sweets / booze / party stuff or just open the bags. I ask this because I see ppl buying ToT for 300 each where I see ppl buying points for 100-150 each. All this really makes no sense to me and I'd like other ppls output on whether I should farm bags and open them or if I should sell them and buy points from ppl who have already opened their bags. Any advice of guidance would be appreciated and a reasoning for the wild prices would be helpful too! Oh and one more question. I have 1000 decayed Orr emblems and I'm faced with a similar dilema as the ToT bags. Trade in the emblems or sell them to create funds for buying points from other ppl

I reccomend opening them, ppl selling them for 300 are stupid...they only worth 150-200...so....unless u wanna farm 21-25 stacks to make enuf money for ur titles...id just open em

Just because people are advertising that they are selling for 300g each (which is a rip off) doesn't mean people are BUYING at 300g each.

At OP, I would sell ur tot bags for 300g because the most valuable drop is the transmog which is worth about 400g, and on average drops are 150-200g. Then buy the points back

Personally, I never sell a free gift box or bag. It's much more fun to open them.

This is a game not a job, you are supposed to be enjoying yourself.

As Luminarus said, if you can get 300g for a ToT bag, go for it. But at normal buy prices, it's not worth it. Open them and use the contents.

Ahh my bad. I just figured since I haven't seen ANYONE buying at that price that he must have meant all the idiots selling at that price.

To give you an idea about the odds of getting what you want.

They'll be worth 150g/each towards mid-week, if not earlier: so if you are contemplating selling them you should have done that yesterday when people were buying for ludicrous prices.
150g/point is standard price for party/sweet/alcohol items, so I recommend now you keep them for yourself.

thx everyone for the advice I've decided to open the tot bags and sell gold unids that I get from the farm to create funds to buy points so far I've bought 3k minutes of booze on top of the tot bags! Ty to everyone

ditto, if someone gave me sweeties irl (not that they would due to to illness!) I would got to the shop to sell them! I'd scoff them!

SELL the BAGS! SELL the BAGS SELL the BAGS. I am serious. There are really stupid people in this game with a lot of money. Some people just want STACKS of things. Oh look at me I got this stack or that stack. SELL THE BAGS.

Another example. Look at the merchant any normal merchant will do. There are Identification kits and Identification kits. The one with more uses costs MORE PER USE than the smaller one so that you do not have to keep getting the kits. Dogh? Why would I spend more gold if I am farming gold for identification kits.

So why would you farm ToT bags and open them to sell the items for 100-150 gold if you can sell the stupid bag for 300 gold UNOPENED?

So sell the bags and Buy the items. You can get almost 2 for 1 making the title cost half as much.

As for your items to trade to the collector. Most people will pay more for stacks again then for just a bunch of them. They will even pay MORE for a stack than what it is worth so that they can have the stack.

I farmed 12 stacks of charr carvings. That is Level 1 of any one of the titles. so should be 100-150 gold per item or 100K-150K for the 12 stacks. I sold as a GROUP for 100K + 15 ectos. I made 160K ish on the carvings alone.

However, BOXES is what I should have done. I should have BOUGHT Boxes and sold them for 300 Gold each. I would have doubled my funds.

That said, I have been using that 100K + ectos to buy charr carvings at 25K per stack. so for an output of 75K I DOUBLE my MONEY.

I then buy and stack ectos, rinse and repeat.

So my advice is to see what items are selling for the MOST gold and then convert your items for those items at the trader and sell them for maximum profit. Just cause it is stupid to us does not mean that we can not give the masses what that want.
