The idea is this
The groups get a benefit if it has diffrent proffesion members. and not hero henchies.
If it uses similar proffesions it get less benefits.
I dont know what the blessings or rewards should be currently. The purpose for this is to negate the proffesion discrimitation for the more difficult areas.
Perhaps longer drunken durations (drunk parties), increased point rewards and hunts, or exotic foes.
reward for multiple proffesion group

It won't remove discrimination, it will just change it. If a team of 7 is looking for an 8th, and they have a Monk, Rit, War, Rang, Elem, Necro, and Derv, they will simply not allow anyone to join that isn't a Mez, Para, or Sin. What would be worse, is if the Rit isn't able to run a Restoration build, and they need a healer. The idea is good, get people to be more open and use other classes for missions and quests. However, I think this is something that should be done by the players, not the game. If I am playing with people outside my guild or friends list, I want to join a team with classes I understand the role of in a 'typical' party. PUG success relies on people playing 'typical' builds. I'd rather not fail repeatedly and have a good variety of classes. Nor would I want to be left out because the group already had my class included.

I'd rather party up with people who can recognize the merits and abilities of the different profession than go with people who suck so bad that they only take a Mesmer/ paragon/ rit/ etc. because they'd FAIL without whatever buff it bestowed upon them.
P.S. - It wouldn't solve the problem of ignorance about the "less desireable" classes because ALL benefits of having that support paragon would be attributed to the buff, not what that paragon did with all those shouts & whatnot.

If that is the case - no, that still won't make me dump my trusted heroes.
And if playing with people will be the only way to achieve something - I'll ask friends or just won't play that thing.
If on the other hand I misunderstood you and this would apply for hero parties also - then this won't change anything. The AI is incapable of playing certain roles - so I'd rather not have the bonus then have half my team even more useless then it already is.
So the whole negative effect gets a HUGE /not signed from me, while a boost for having more varied (human) parties gets a huge /don't care.
T
/not signed, the game was designed as an mmo to play with people. i dont think they should get rewards for doing what the game was intended to do. as for the multiple profession bonus thing, that wont changed the 'holy trinity' + utility unless they bonuses are rather unbalanced. therefore it would just lead to some sort of misuse.
also, the game was designed as pve being a gateway to pvp. yes i know some players will never attempt that step, but making pve easier isnt going to fix much.

I consider myself corrected, and thus agrees that my post was a bad idea as well.
