Heroes Casting Enchants

Noob question here but apparently I'm doing something wrong.

When trying something like hm dungeon farming how do you get the hero to cast enchantments on you? I assumed you'd bring up their spell bar, select yourself and choose the enchantment for them to cast. It appears to work yet goes away almost immediately.

What am I doing wrong?

"Deactivate" their enchants (Shift + Click), and then micro them.

Heroes won't cancel the enchants

yep, and heros fail at maintained enchants. you need to manually cast the skill, and deactivate it.

Thanks all. Knew it had to be something simple.

Now if I can just learn to use the build properly...
