Topic says it all, here are my pc specs, i went to system reuirements lab and my PC specs go WAY over the recommended but just needed to get your opinion if it will ru smothly:

Intel core 2 duo 2.66 Ghz
2 GB of RAM
MSI Radeon x1550, i think i have another x1550 dunno.

So, will this be fine?

It should run fine on High depending on your connection and how many backround tasks you have open. How about you just try it for yourself?

it should run fairly well on high settings, depends a bit on how much of your comps resources are already used as well as your internet speeds.

way over the recommended? i don't know, but i don't think the radeon x1550 is particularly powerful. it's actually relatively week actually, since the x1550 is just a higher clocked version of x1300.

it will probably run GW well at medium, and if you leave antialiasing off.

CPU and Memory are just fine, but I'm not sure about your Graphics Card... Someone else might be able to compare it with others, I can't say if it's good enough or not. My first guess would be that the Graphics Card is too slow, it seems to me like an older model.

How well the x1550 would run, would of course depend upon the screen resolution of your monitor. The more pixels, the slower it will be.
At any rate, I doubt that an x1550 would run GW on "high", but it will do untill you get something newer/better.
The x1550 would be a slide show on Crysis.

For Prophecies i get much more than that of course, either way, there are people telling me tht my card will raun GW at high and some ppl telling me it probably wont. Besides, ive seen a topic somewhere saying tht all 256 Mb and 512 Mb Crads willl Run GW at high, either way i dunno who or where to trust xD LoL, Personally i think it will run GW at high, if im still confused il just wait till i get my hands on the game

system requirements lab do not take your graphic card's actual performance into account. the X1550 is simply not a high performance card, even when it was NEW. it's really slow by today's standards.

you'll be able to play GW on medium at around 1280x1024 resolution, and only if you leave antialiasing off. you can crank it up all the way, but GW will turn into a slideshow.

PS: never trust system requirements lab to see if your computer can run a game WELL. if it passes minimum, the game will START. if it passes recommended, you can turn on all the graphics goodies without the game crashing. it will never tell you how well your system will actually run the game.

So what you mean is that i CAN turn it on HIGH, but the game will probably run a little bit slowly.

BTW Whats antialiasing?

BUt theres always the possibility that it WONT turn into a slideshow right?

PS: I just went into GW Client, and went to graphics section, and you know the big bar saying: Visual Quality tht goes from fastest to highest? I clicked the auto-detect button thingy and the blue square on the bar moved the the 3rd position from left to right ( there are 4 positions ) and the Terrain Quality automatically went to: HIGH Texture quality went to: HIGH Reflections went to: ALL Shader Quality went to: HIGH And Shadow quality went to: MEDIUM

so im guessing GW just analyzed my PC? To look for the best settings for me to run it? if so, then i think il only run Shadows on medium if i have AA Off, and the resolution on the one you just said, RIGHT?
