I took a hiatus from GW, and it's very fun coming back. I started playing just for fun, and pugging without giving a monkey's testicle what they had on their skillbar. And missions were still easily done.
People who are bored from this game should try taking a break and getting back to it. It lets you forget the frustrations with an incompetent team, and just roll with it.
I repeat, give it a go if you are bored of the game, or too frustrated for some reason at the playerbase.
That is all.

I have come back to GW

Welcome back to Guild Wars. Always happy to have another pugger out there, there are so few of us left.
For those that do get frustrated or angry with other people over their builds or play styles, take a break. As my generation worded it; “Take a chill pill man.” Try another game when you need to play Guild Wars again, come back. Be sure to set your password to a very strong one, record it on a piece of paper and stick it with the CD. Guild Wars is just a game, nothing to work yourself into a tizzy or have a hissy fit about.
I prefer pugs to heroes almost any day. I have learned that a very important thing about pugs is keeping criticism about builds constructive and after the mission/quest is done.

I dunno, it depends what you did before you stopped playing. Sometimes it's not so fun to come back to a game with no one to play with and nothing to do....

I took a break a while ago right after Factions came out, and switched to WoW. Played that a while, became an addict, then rediscovered the outside world and how much fun casual play in Guild Wars was.
Solo play being possible on almost every level of content, instanced zones, low grind requirements, the interesting pugs, oh how I missed you!

Yup, this is what I do. If, at any moment (where I'm not playing with other people) I find myself thinking "I can't be bothered...", I'll close the game and come back when I feel like it.

There is a lot of things better than GW. Have you tried marijuana? Well maybe you should.*
*- Opinions expressed by my optimistic side of ego are not representing the thoughts of my persona, because it wouldn't acknowledge GW as a thing, more of a waste of time. (deepbreath).
