Hi,

I just heard about Avira from another thread at Q&A and I have a few questions that I would like to ask.

1. How is Avira better than AVG? (Since that was what was said on the other thread)

2. Is it possible to download the definition files manually so I can update Avira on PCs that don't have internet access? Or does the installation file itself contain the up-to-date definiton files?

1. Avira is a lot better than AVG, faster, better detection rates, lightweight too. I'd also recommend avast.

2. You'd have to check their website.

Avast eh? Between that and Avira, which would be better?

I personally recommend avast. Though Avira has a slightly better detection rate, avast still does a great job.
