I'm getting my monk to r5 asura.
I was wondering which way would be faster:

clear magus stones in HM
i used an essence of celerity when doing this because that web skill the spiders use is overpowered, and it helps keep up rampage the entire time.

clear magus with an Essence,or even though you said you didnt want to,use a HM book,its way faster.

Hmm, fastest way is a book honestly, a magus HM clear is on average for me 6k, and asuran r5 is 20k or 25k I believe? One HM book minus Destruction depths gets you that, around 1 and 1/2 hours

going through the game with one NM book gets you two r5 of Dwarven and any other you want.

Why are people suggesting HM books for r5? r5 is 26,000 rep. A full NM book gives 20,000rep, which will get you r5 because you've gathered 6,000 rep doing missions and quests already.

Because HM is easy? Might as well get double the points for hardly any extra work.
