Lethal Rock-Paper-Scissors
Ranger Icarus
Hi everyone, I have a question regarding Lethal Rock-Paper-Scissors in the Halloween event. Since all of my characters are on the track for survivor and haven't died yet, and I have no free slots, I was wondering if you lose and are killed by the Mad King, do you get a death counted toward the survivor title?

Not all deaths are counted as deaths by "/deaths" command. The following circumstances will not affect the progress of Survivor:
* Programmed cutscene deaths (be wary of Necromancer minions turning hostile).
* Triggered deaths during the Factions and Nightfall tutorial quests.
* Deaths due to mission failure (i.e. due to loss of a mission-critical NPCs or locations) or resignation (the "/resign" command).
* Instant death mechanics (such as the crushing traps in Fahranur and Sorrow's Furnace, the Sulfurous Haze environmental effect, boulders in EoTN, and skill triggers like Death Pact Signet).
* Dying in towns and outposts (i.e. non-instanced areas). Examples include the triggered deaths during Halloween events or dying from damage during mini-events like the Mursaat Rally.
* Dying in certain special event PvP contests such as the Dragon Arena.
* Losing all health while brawling (caveat: see below).
* Deaths incurred when doing a BMP mission.
The following circumstances will cause you to incur a death and will halt your Survivor progress:
* Dying from losing all health from damage or sacrifice (includes deaths during PvP)
* Deaths accrued while in a state of disconnection (when connection is lost, but you are still logged in).
* Your Junundu losing all health (Nightfall only).
* Failing to use STAND UP! in time when knocked out while brawling.
* Getting killed by flame geysers in the Catacombs.
* Getting killed by one of the Catapults in the Fort Ranik Mission.
* Losing a round in a Polymock match.
* Dying in the mock PvP Battle when leaving pre-searing Ascalon, before meeting up with Rurik. ( Tip: Log out and in again, this will skip the PvP Battle and take you directly to the mission. You will have Fighter, Mage and Archer henchmen in your party.)

Oh thanks
. I looked at that page earlier, but I wasn't able to find it.

However its best to stay away from anything that kills you because there have been many reports of these types of deaths that "dont count" show up as a death.

never had this issue, I died over a hundred times (at least!) with my monk going for survivor, and the only time I actually lost my survivor title was when I died because of a PC crash (my PC met my baseball bat that night)

[ EDIT ]
@ OP: The only way to be absolutely certain that you aren't going to lose your Survivor Title is to not die at all. Sorry, but I don't trust in the mechanics of 'not really death' vs. 'counts as a death'.
