Luxon Rep. in Kurzick Guild?

Recently I've been interested in working on my Luxon reputation title a little, just so I can have Rank 1 (want to have all PvE skills on my main), and who knows Rank 3-4 to put on Hall of Monuments.

However I am in Kurzick guild which I don't plan to leave. How is it possible to transfer Luxon faction, in this case?

You can buy Jade, but that only gives a 1:1 benefit. If you want the 2:1 benefit you need to either start buying the skills (only works after you get rank 1, and you run out of characters to buy skills with) or join a luxon guild and donate to them. It sucks, but after you get all skills you can't get the 2:1 exchange without being luxon.

I think you can trade it for Jade Shards. It will be slower to get the title but it is still possible.

Also you Kurzick faction will reduce when you trade your Luxon faction.

you can get a guest invite to luxon guild. then buy in their GH Jadeite/Scrolls/Skills

Go to Cavalon and trade for jade/scrolls/skills.

All good ideas. Also, keep an eye out for the upcoming update. It is planned that several title tracks are getting tweaked. There may be more changes to the Kurzick/Luxon tracks than what's already been incorporated.

I think if you get a guest invite you can donate the faction to their alliance, but I could be wrong.

Scrolls and jade / amber, depending on which opposing side you belong to. Not sure about skills, though.

You are. You have to be in let's say a Kurzick guild to donate Kurzick faction, but that is also limited to your guilds' guild hall.

Just out of curiosity since I can't play Guild Wars under decent conditions right now, but is it possible to get the PvE-only skills on PvP characters considering GtoB allows PvE-only skills too? Something I'm not too sure of there, but I'd be thankful if someone can prove or disprove this.

That was actually a great idea and I just got 3,000 Faction just to see if it would work. Unfortunately it didn't, look:




The skills option just doesn't show up for the PvP char.

Its beacuse it clearly states that the skills cannot be used by heros, or PvP charecters.

If I saw this eairlyer, i would of had to save you the time of getting 3k faction xD

The only skils you wanna keep an eye on are really, Aura of Holy Might for a dervish (beacuse lets face it, all foes take damage, then you attack so much faster, and then when it ends foes take more damage is just awsome ^^). Also "Save Yourselfs!" is most props my fav one and one i use all the time. Its saved my heros so much in Hard Mode and even makes the hencies seem good xD.

Apart from that, there really isnt any other skills to look out for, apart from mabey the Assassin one, but ill leave you to decide which ones are the best.

Also if you dont plan on leaveing your guild, you can just make it Luxon alliance xD. Or just get a guest invite, or even safer, fight in the jade sea with the Luxon blessing on, and trade for scrolls (that works i belive since i have some 40k points towards the title track now), or get Jade Shards. That way you can make a lil bit of money on the side ^^. But i vanquished the entier of Encholvad Forest and made mabey 100k transfered faction out of it. So you should be able to do it in Luxon area (i belive additional points for doing it in hardmode to).

It's ok, getting 3K faction was fast enough at HFFF and I can use it for the Kurz title.

The idea was to get the Luxon skills on PvP char, for double faction bonuses, then delete it right away and repeat.

But this is not possible so I'll have to most likely join a Luxon guild for a bit.

You wouldent have to, like i said, just go to the luxon areas and get the blessing, and also get the repetable quests which requier scouting the area and killing things. Do it in Hard Mode, lots of points, lots of money, lots of everything (and even a few nice drops, got Markhai's Air Staff and an Elite Mesmer Tome in vanquishing The Harvest Temple).

You should be able to just get a Luxon guest invite and go ab. Or even better just go to luxon side Fort Aspen. PvP charecters can go there (though the temple of balthazar Luxon Recruter) and hell, you can have a PvP charecter with 1.8% of Cantha Explored too ^^.

but no double points for raising your alliance reputation.
