Is PayPal accepted in the store? Because I'd rather not use a credit card or go buy a prepaid one...

last i knew, paypal can issue you a temporary card number to make such purchases.

PayPal's website doesn't mention temporary purchase cards. They do offer a no-fee MC debit card linked to your account with an option to back it with another source.

That requires a filled out application (at which I didn't bother to look) and a two week wait for the card arrival.

I believe the problem causing the non-addition of PayPal to the payment options is Ebay's merchant services charges. I believe they are a lot higher than MC or Visa's.
