AND SOME OTHER PEOPLE WHOS NAME I HAVE ON A SCREENSHOT SAID TO DROP FOR A WIKI SCREENSHOT THEN ONE RAN WITH DASH AND RETURNED ON ME AND TOOK MY STAFF PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO CONTACT BECAUSE I WANT MY STAFF BACK AND I WANT THEM BANNED I HAVE SCREENSHOT PROOF!!!!!! PLEAAASSEEEEE

I doubt they'll be able to do much for you, but they may find something ban-worthy.

Anet will not ban them for your own stupidity as far as I am concerned. Worth a shot I suppose.

Who do you think you are? If i posed as GW wiki and asked you to drop your weapon for a screenshot i sure hella know you'd so it so Stfu n Gtfo

If someone told me to drop my equip for a wiki screenshot id do three things.

A) goto wiki and see they already have a picture
b) Not drop it
c) tell them to go shove a baton where the sun dont shine

I'm sorry you've lost your weapon Hopeless. As you've discovered, a lot of the folks on the this forum are rude. Just ignore them as they will flame nearly every topic posted.

Ok, here are the facts. I'm sorry to say, but your staff is gone. If you drop a weapon on the ground, it's free for anyone to pick up and there are a lot of lowlife scammers ingame that deliberately look for new players like yourself to pull this scam on. Arenanet cannot recover your weapon.

However, you should still log a support ticket with them. It's likely that the scammer will be banned for his actions. Supply screenshots with your ticket as proof. I've been targeted for this same scam. I played along with the scammer for a half hour, but did not drop my items. Instead I took screenshots and reported. Support notified me a few days later that the scammer was banned.

Go to wiki and read up on the common scams found ingame. Educate yourself so that this doesn't happen again.
