Basic Account Question

Well guys, I need you. Well, I bought the in-game stuff and created an PlayNC account. When I go to Edit Account, it does not give me the option to change my Email Address which I need to. How do I change my email address? It shows change password, access keys, and not email.

If your PlayNC account is linked to your GW account, you can't change your GW log-in e-mail address anymore. It's stuck. Supposedly they don't use this address to e-mail you anything anyway. It's just like a log-in name.

You can change your PlayNC e-mail address though, through the PlayNC site. I don't use a PlayNC account though, so I don't know the specifics.

Believe me, you are not the first to bring up this problem...

I would tend to think one can change their name and password of that account.

No you don't have to keep your old email address. You can use any email address in your PlayNC account to be contacted for any and all of the games you have linked to it. The email address you used to on GW is only it's name now. It has no use other than to login to the game.

You don't actually have to own the email adress anymore in order to log in. I've got rid of my email that I use for GW logins. Think of it instead as simply a login name and not an adress.

Just update your PlayNC email and you're home free.

While you don't need to keep the login email address valid, you do need to supply a valid email address for contact purposes.

Therefore you are allowed to change your Contact information as often as you wish. As long as one address on the account is valid you are fine.
